  1. Went for Colak but thought Lundstram controlled the game from start to finish
  2. 6-3 Utd toying with City in last 5mins :-)
  3. Normal service has been resumed....
  4. They've been very poor in 2nd half thus far
  5. City been devastating in 1st 45mins.
  6. Least one Bearette is happy tonight. Good on her.... goan urself Babu
  7. I don't know - I found it strange when they mentioned it to be honest. I'll need to check. But Alfies record against them (and Killie) is impressive
  8. A few interesting stats I picked up from commentary today (not checked them tho!) - Tav has never scored against Hearts. - Kent has scored more goals against Hearts then any other club. - if Alfie scores against them in next game, he gets to keep them
  9. Young guns scored a 90th minute winner away to Hearts B this afternoon to make it a double.
  10. How can I be sugarcoating when even you have admitted there were positives? :-) How can I be sugarcoating when I've said the performance wasn't top class and that there is room and need for improvement. It is possible to praise a performance when it's justified (as in today) but still demand improvement. And today was an improvement in performance when judged against our other away games this season.
  11. Alfie and / or the watery fart fan 🤔😄
  12. I'm struggling to see how that's possible given the many positives. We've been dire for most of this season. Today wasn't top class but it was better than anything we've served up away from Ibrox (domestically) since Gios arrival. So today's overall performance wasn't any better than Livy, Hibs and Celtic away? Or Dundee UTD at home? Can't see how any one can say that
  13. It was the third goal, not the 2nd doll....
  14. So you didn't see any positives in the performance? Colak with two goals (again)? Kent with a great assist and wonderful goal? JL bossing the midfield for the entire game? Limiting Hearts to 1 shot on target? The free flowing moves for the 2nd and 3rd goals? A solid defensive performance and clean sheet? Subs contributing when they came on? Destroying Hearts at Tynecastle when most were fearing a battering? Can we play better? Definitely. Do we need to play better to win league? Definitely. I've been critical of Gio but if you can't see how anyone can't take any / many positives from todays performance.
  15. And that's your prerogative - can you suggest a better away domestic performance under Gio?
  16. I must have missed it as I honestly couldn't remember Greegs having a safe to make which is unusual at Tynecastle. Shows how much on top we were
  17. Really? Colak and two "shots" and scored 2 that's clinical. We could and hold have scored 7 or 8 today (one rolled out incorrectly). Did Hearts have a shot on target?
  18. So that's a 50% conversation rate? Hardly clinical.
  19. Disagree, if you are not on it at Tynecastle you struggle. We controlled the game from start to finish. Yes the red card helped, but we were 2-0 and coasting. We limited Hearts to very few chances and looked the most likely to score. If we were clinical, we'd have won by 7 or 8 today. We are not firing on all cylinders but today was an emphatic victory and a good performance at one of the toughest away grounds in Scotland.
  20. How many saves did Greegs have? As easy a victory at Tynecastle we've had in years. That's not sugarcoating anything, it's what played out in front of our eyes. We had a perfectly good goal chopped off and Arfield and Alfie missed sitters, so 7-0 wouldn't have flattered us.
  21. Result was never in doubt after the red card. Hearts were never in game after that.
  22. Staggering to think we can win 4-0 at Tynecastle and are critical of the performance. We are not hitting top frm but today was our best away performance of the season and its a huge step in the right direction. Fans were wetting themselves at the thought of the game today yet we won with easy.
