I just don't see us having a list of suitable replacements. We'll end up with Robbie Neilson or Kevin Thompson.......

But who takes his place? What decent manager would come to us knowing they will have no transfer budget to revive the squad, current boardroom changes and uncertainty? Where are we getting the money to pay-off Gio and has backroom staff? Or to pay compensation for a new manager and his staff? Or are we limiting ourselves to people currently out of work?

The question is who replaces Gio. A club in a footballing backwater, no transfer budget, uncertainty around the boardroom, players confidence shot. Can look at it two ways, - someone may see turning us around as the challenge they need to get back in shop window for a job in better league. Or - no one is gonna touch us with a barge-pole. Is there another Stevie Gerrard hiding out there somehwere?

I agree with that, but the question was about on-field leaders. They all should be leaders. If that burden is too much they are at the wrong club.

Sorry but if you play for Rangers and need a "leader" to talk you through a game then you are at the wrong club.

Gulf in class and finances laid as bare as it could be. Maybe now we'll realise what an achievement was getting to Europa League Final was last season. Positive that there were noises around clubs sniffing around King prior to him signing his new contract. Fully expect King and Lowry to be the next big money transfers from our Academy (with McCann as an outside shot).
