Yup, remember a few years ago when I was based in Toronto, we had a friendly arranged in Hamilton Ontario v Sporting (?) and they pulled out close to the date of the game.

Motives aside, the boards reluctance to cancel this farcical friendly is a huge open goal - all DK has done is tapped home from a yard out. He looks the good guy and if the board don't accept his offer, they'll look like the bad guys. No matter what, the club should never have accepted this friendly, all blame for the fall out is entirely their making

- inactivity unless it's them that's been targeted for criticism. - Ticket Centre / Sales a complete and utter shambles. - MyGers nothing more than a money making exercise. - Customer Service non-existent. - refusal to discuss safe standing. - treating fans like customers. - utter disdain of fans suggestions and opinions. - inability or unwilling to tackle the disability access / viewing at Ibrox. - inability or unwilling to defend club and fans. - no communication / fan engagement other than buy this, buy that, buy the next thing. - no club display for 150 - all fan financed and set up etc. Could go on but that'll do for starters.

So how do we get answers to them? Board aren't interested, they won't answer you, they won't answer me, they won't answer Club1872, who will they answer? I'll tell you who, nobody. They must be answerable to someone. If Club1872 aren't the vehicle for board / fan engagement what is?

What about normal fans like me and many others who want the same answers as Club1872? Should we be ostracized as well? Exactly what SDM did to those who dared question him - set fans on us, nd we were physically and verbally abused. The board need to address the fans concerns no matter what "banner" they come under (and I'm fully aware what Club 1872 are doing here) but the duty is with Rangers to address legitimate concerns. Today the club look like a bunch of amateurs who have thrown their toys out the pram as someone has dared question them. Pathetic.

Nah, like winning trophies/titles under Big Eck in the last year's of SDM reign, it just papers over the cracks. I took no pleasure in being one of a few lone voices who saw through Mr Moonbeams and saw the devastation on the horizon. I'm too far removed these days to the ins and outs but have said since SG leaving, there was something "Not right" at the club, and today just proves this. The club's statement is amateurish at best (not to mention highly embarrassing) and proves the board shouldn't be running a raffle never mind Rangers FC. Black/sad day for OUR club and personally underlines the inability of our current board. Club 1872 (along with an increasing number of fans) are raising legitimate questions and are being "stonewalled" by the club / board. MyGers has been an unmitigated disaster and a shambles from day 1. Glad I didn't join as too many fans paying hard earned cash for little or no reward. Safe standing, disabled access and match day experience, ticket office, customer service (lack off), rumours of spiralling costs for museum and Edminston House, questions over Castore retail deal etc are all remain unanswered by the board have a duty to address these questions, instead they "throw mud" and run away. This must signal the end of the current board.

I'm beginning to get the same horrible feeling about the current board as I had when SDM was our custodian.......

Hard to argue with anything in the statement, board are in hiding. Worrying times.

I'll keep saying it until we show form / performances that convince me that we can. At the moment we simply aren't at the moment. We can win it by winning every game between now and end of season, just can't see us being able to do that given the effort required and distraction of Europa League. Time will tell if my fears are legitimate. Oh I'd happily be proven incorrect...

If you can't be good, be lucky and we were certainly lucky today. We are unconvincing domestically which is hard to understand given how good we are in Europe. I'm still unconvinced we'll win the league - if we drop any more points then league is lost. Can we win all our remaining league games as I think we'll need to to win the league.
