  1. No doubt we will be away as punishment by all that disgraceful goings on that our fans caused at cup final:devil::devil:
  2. We have blue roots growing worldwide but mother nature adds chlorophyll and turns things green but at least we have our roots:flute:
  3. We need a bit of experience if we have to go for Hill it's fine by me it might make a player of Wilson and bring out the player that is Kiernan. I renewed my season ticket with the expectation of a top six finish first year and a top three with a challenge for top in second year. I think it is better to walk before we can run.
  4. Great article as I posted in a thread after the game I was on Cathcart Road standing at an Indian Restaurant with my son and waiting for our friends. I saw these vans arrive and obviously get blocked by exiting fans. From the lead one several officers came out and started man-handling fans of all ages, pushing them into the side, against parked cars, and finally when realising they were not getting anywhere went back into their vans. Some verbal abuse was hurled at them but no violence occurred. I had my camera with me which has a video function but held back in filming anything for the fear of being targeted by these aforesaid officers as I was only about 10-20 yards from them. Well done Club1872.
  5. Sticks and stones etc. the talking will be done on the park, during the close season papers need a selling headline and are full of crap.
  6. If we could now get rid of the disgusting signage running along the club deck it would make viewing from the Sandy Jardine Stand more pleasurable.
  7. Edwards a he or a she!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Sounds a good goalscorer but Nicky Clark had a good reputation when we signed him and although he was a decent player did not hit the goalscoring heights he had with Q.O.S. Still we are looking for a striker and Bradshaw might be the answer but "buyer beware"
  9. Too many old pals let McCoist down badly:- Smith,Boyd,Foster to name but three.
  10. The finish is more or less easy to explain it is only human nature,by choice or whatever, to take the foot off the gas when something is won. In a way I am glad we did not make Europe as a new team has to be built and we don't want the annual embarrassment of the manky mob in failing to qualify to insuperior teams, but still gutted at capitulation in cup. Press or whoever at mickey taking re MW.
  11. Did De Boer get moved into different positions or have to play bit parts?. Re cup final MW used Dean as a right winger a totally alien position for him and I doubt if De Boer could have filled that position. The cup final defeat came down to too lean a squad and of course the awful defending.
  12. Still a lot of water to flow under the bridge.
  13. Shame to see him go but it seems and I think correctly that MW wants his own "team" and would hope that Ian would bear no grudges and continue in his support of us. Good luck Ian and thanks for the memories.
  14. Could not tell you have only seen trailers and looks a total turn off.
  15. It can only be good experience for the U/20 boys.
  16. Be careful re ageism in these days of political correctness:flute:
  17. 10.15 still not yet live.
  18. Reported in Herald he has stepped down from Rangers Retail board along with his associate could be start of getting our sales back?
  19. As much as Barry is so pleased it still to me seems like a slap in the face as no doubt ginger nut with the green tinted eyes will dump both Barry and Lee when the manky mob players are available after him resting them.
  20. Agree re ball playing but what we have lacked as well as a proper centre back is someone who can lump the ball upfield or into row Z when we are trying to see out a game. Too many late goals have been lost as a result of this.
  21. He might get a crowd in with his stature thanks.
  22. Not a top one but there is possibly one who will look at his stature in football who may take a chance, but can't name any one in particular.
  23. He played at the time when I was unable to attend due to working restrictions, but got to see him on a few occasions, got his injury for being too honest in a tackle. Another player who we did not get his full potential after the injury similar to Durrant but another legend.
  24. Ally is what he is and always be a legend as a Rangers goalscorer who had a go at management of the club. Albeit that was during a turbulent upheaval and having to deal with too much backroom stuff it still looked as we moved up the divisions he was out of his depth, football wise. It might be beneficial for him to have another go elsewhere and prove his ability one way or the other. But what must not be forgotten ability, salary, garden leave or whatever he always gave what he thought was his best.
  25. Renewals date is up now dealing with the waiting list, which might be lengthy, then open to new applicants so final total of season tickets should be massive. we are the people right enough.
