Today's game proved that Clark is an out and out trier and even defended well at one stage but service to him from wide areas was lacking so his strengths were not brought into play as most were crosses.

Certainly persons can be injured on any type of surface but the fact seems to be that when sliding into tackles you are more likely to cut yourself or get friction burns on plastic which by reports is a common injury. Can't recall myself but sure I seen it a few times in pre substitution rules. As a wee extra to the post does anyone think rules should be changed to allow three substitutes as now and that the keeper be replaced at any time if injured over and above the three?.

Used to go to reserve league games too,remember Andy Penman making his debut on day Foinavon won Grand National,but have never been at any development games as they don't inspire me. I remember thinking it was great at being able to get into the enclosure because it was cheaper than it was for first team games.
