  1. Why not they have invested their money so deserve first crack of whip rather than those who will want to turn up just because it's a final. Personally I signed up for all non-league games and semi-finals so have no problem with ticket.
  2. A.bit naive of him if that's the case as he could not avoid putting more pressure on his knee as the penalty was taken by his injured leg, maybe a bit of greed as well but that is strikers for you.. Here's hoping for a quick recovery.
  3. Hope it is settled before then as don't fancy it being a shoot-out at Easter Road.
  4. I know Dundee could be a struggle but it is a bit disrespectful towards Dumbarton considering Championship V Premiership results. A big blow re Waggy but I wonder did he feel injury then take penalty and aggravate it?. Pool will now be tested.

    Clarks goal

The powderpuff statement runs through the team as watching from the Chadwick Road stand it was easy to see us at times being lightweight.

    Clarks goal

Looks likely depending on Waggies injury with Hardie away on loan to Raith.
  7. At Alloa this season the match ball changed colour to a dark yellow as a result of the pellets, this surely tells you something.

    Clarks goal

Glad to see a possible end to short corners paid dividends. To me Clark could be the penalty box striker needed if quality quick balls like that become the norm.
  9. Did the article clarify "cannot be released" i.e.will the compound remain stable evermore and not be absorbed into bloodstreams if the compound becomes entrapped in living cells,as the body secretes all type of alien body fighting chemicals?. Much more research is needed!.
  10. Agreed from one who saw his father-in-law die a slow death from asbestosis it was not nice.If any link whatever exists these pitches should be outlawed or have to find another solution to the playing problem.
  11. If we became embroiled in an Atlantic league no doubt season ticket prices would be hiked and as someone who can just about afford it just now I would envisage having to give mine up which would be a sad day as I am not getting any younger.
  12. Have read with interest and thought I'd book up.Seems very popular as some dates already sold out but am going in July looking forward to it.
  13. Can't remember how long ago but think it was against Falkirk when Bomber Jackson caught the ball on the volley from about 40 yards and it screamed into the net. Another great goal Ray Wilkins volley.
  14. At least yesterday he put in a decent pass which led to a good cross for our goal.
  15. Okay agree re manager's worth but he sees each game from the level might be worth going up to stand to see many fans view and get a different perspective on games. What I hate to see is time wasted in lead up to substitutions on looking and being shown graphs and paper plays.
  16. Several songs come to mind "Smooth Operator","Money for Nothing","Gimee Gimee Gimee" any others:bouncy2:
  17. If you were at recent games he took a couple of hefty whacks after all subs used and to be honest don't think he's fully shook them off, totally agree he needs a rest even if it means starting on the bench and coming on in MW's substitution window.
  18. Have enjoyed the rapport since I joined but a bad experience stops me joining Twitter or Facebook and have tried Follow Follow but found it to be pretty rubbish not as informative as Gers Net. Keep up the good work.
  19. Legends are what they are in peoples opinion so surprised not to see "Slim Jim"mentioned in this vein Many other players could spring to light "wee Willie" for instance. But I would prefer to see the term being gave club good service so should be remembered fondly, probably a bit long winded compared to the one word "legend"but would allow many others to be part of our folklore.
  20. Surely he will be able to find a dodgy lawyer that is able to prove that the tweeting of the injury is against his "human rights" in stopping him launching an appeal:roflmao2:
  21. In A way it suits me as I might not have made the Saturday as me and the" boss" are going to the Hydro but it is the principle of it.
  22. Another kick us up the arse from SPFL and the police would they have done it the other way round no chance.
  23. Would he have apologised to any other club I have no sympathy for Thomson or his team.
  24. Well done for his apology but he is still a prat of a referee but that goes for most if not all in Scotland.
