  1. Can we now close the book or have they still to write the final chapter.
  2. I think Gordon is a good keeper and he seems to have added the football side of the game to his skills. Candeias has an important role stopping Tierney getting forward. After Wednesday I may even be talked into going 3-5-2 if Alves and John are fit. Alnwick although it will be Foderingham. Cordoso Alves McCrorie Tavernier Dorrans Jack Pena John Morelos Miller (or Windass)
  3. We are as only as good as our last days work. Past successes are no guarantee for the future.
  4. No doubt the tims will have a few nice banners or noises mocking the earthquake. I will be honest I will not be too sorry if McCorie is in for Alves. I have not been impressed with him at all and I don't think Cardoso is confident playing beside him. He is very poor in marking his man and that puts Cardoso constantly in 2 minds. That is why, in my opinion, that Cardoso played better when McCrorie came on as McCrorie cancelled Sammon out Cardoso knew exactly what his role then was.
  5. I had hoped up that.
  6. Thursday after the Well v sheep game.
  7. I have one rule in life. Never read rules, operating instructions or furniture building instructions. Usually ends up the wife putting them together.
  8. I think it could only be Pena and push Dorrans more advanced. Maybe on the left for Windass. To be honest I would put Foderingham on the left instead of Windass.
  9. We have had this discussion a hundred times and still nobody knows. I think it is 90 minutes.
  10. Morelos was finished after the 90 and was really an obvious choice to be subbed. That is not a negative the guy worked his socks off. Just a pity he did not round the keeper instead of shooting past the post. I will be quite happy if Pedro leaves Alnwick in goal for Saturday. In all the games I have seen him he has been solid and made a number of good saves. I also thought Cardoso looked a far better player when Alves went off and looked as good as he was before Alves arrived. Strange that. For all the people asking if we should park the bus on Saturday then you got your answer. We can't park a mini-van never mind a bus. We sat far too deep in the second half of the second half and let Thistle play their game and let crosses flood into the box. For excitement we have had two great games even although the football was not always great. I really hope John makes it for Saturday because he was excellent today although Roberts is another proposition. I loved Pedro's statement after the game. In extra time we were like rabbits from a battery. Brilliant. I really hope he proves me wrong on his management skills because I really like him as a person.
  11. Hibs if the referee allows it.
  12. Bring back Kiernan and Wilson I say! Okay it's a joke. Cardoso and Alves are not very good either though. John was fantastic for the first 20 minutes and reasonable after that. Pena looks with some game time he will be good. Morelos is class.
  13. I think Wilson is injured. I am not 100% sure though.
  14. I think Morelos should be dropped from the FGS list.
  15. Hector the Mexican. Aye right. does he wear a Mexican kilt. was it not Hector that got his Maw to make him a pair of underpants for under his kilt but forgot to put them on. He was so proud of his undies on a first date wae a burd he pulled up his kilt and said: See ma material hen I've git yards 'o'that at hame.
  16. Parking the bus will be suicide. We need to keep the lines tight but not on our 18 yard line. Let them pass it along the back 2 making sure Tierney and Lustig only have time to pass it back to the CH's. As soon as it is a forward pass to midfield then close them down as quick as possible. Stupid fouls around the 18 yard box could also be deadly and they will be looking to go down with the brush of a feather. Anyway we have a game tonight let's worry about Saturday after we beat Thistle.
  17. Who the F*** hasn't had trouble with their wife?
  18. 2-0 Rangers Windass
  19. No way Rangers will sell him any time soon unless they offer silly money.
  20. Happens now and again. A job for Frankie or Blueflag. If it asks if it has permission to leave the page then answer yes otherwise you get a double post.

  22. I really like Pedro. I think he makes a better PR man than football manager though.
