We played well apart from the blunder and 10 mins thereafter. Their goal started as an attack from us just outside their area and they never touched it until Keirnen layed it into McLeans path. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

I would imagine that is it.

The posts on here are the same as statistics you can read into them what you want. I only seen 1 post that could possibly be translated in "sack the manager" Again I will repeat that your statement of this site being full of people wanting Warburton sacked is a lot of crap. Given that this thread was after the Hearts 2-0 defeat where a there was also a knee-jerk reaction from some in the thread. Warburton deserved criticism after that game and thankfully I believe the criticism that he got finally woke him up about his plan B theory. Since that criticism we have been a far better team.

As above. I have no idea if it is on RTV. I would think it is Astra 19.2 for German channels.
-
I think you are wrong on that. There was a lot of criticism of him but I don't think many if any were wanting him sacked. If you can show me posts asking for him to be sacked I would be interested in seeing them. This place as you say was certainly not full of people demanding he go 3 weeks ago. That is just crap.

Transfer Rumours and Deals - Winter Window 2016/17
pete replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Why are they all in a 50 mile radius of Liverpool or have played in that radius. I thought MacFarline(?) would be a great addition all he has done is cut down the jobless numbers in the Liverpool area. (Slight exaggeration) -

Rangers defender Rob Kiernan is on a shortlist of defenders being tracked by Fulham. The Daily Mail are reporting that Cottagers boss Slavisa Jokanovic has been keeping a close eye on the 25-year-old, as he looks to bolster his squad by bringing in a defender, midfielder, winger and striker during the transfer window. Kiernan has been a regular starter for Mark Warburton’s side, making 21 appearances and the West London side could be tempted to offer around £2m to try and tempt the former Watford man to return south. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/transfer-news-live-celtic-rangers-9520847 -
Santa Claus has come and gone steering Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen back to Lapland for a well earned rest. He has forgotten Rudolph I hear you saying but the fact is that Rudolph was not named in the original line-up. Rudolph was in fact brought in as a last minute addition to lead the front line through stormy weather. You could say he was the Joey Garner of the Reindeer team. Even the red nose and the fact he was a bit of a misfit probably fits the analogy perfectly. Some Rangers supporters may take the opinion that some of the other reindeer offer up a better analogy for Garner and call him a right prancer or a right dancer. The fact is just like Rudolph Garner is the type who will not be suited to every outing. Nobody will ever be able to criticise his work ethic though for when it comes to work a horse comes more to mind than a reindeer. Unfortunately the liking is more the cumbersome strength of a work horse other than the agile stealth of a racehorse. After the games against Aberdeen and Hearts where Garner was the man of the match, on Saturday against Inverness he was almost non-existent against a physically strong ICT defence. That a striker is non-existent occurs with almost every striker but with many you can say he only needs one sniff of goal and he will score. Until now it looks like Joe doesn't have that quality in the saddle-room. With that in mind it surprised me on Saturday that Mark Warburton chose to substitute the constantly dangerous Waghorn instead of a not so smok'n Joe. After Waghorn, who has been our most dangerous player recently, was substituted in the last two games we have virtually surrendered as an attacking force putting the defence under immense pressure. This is something Warburton should think about when making his standard substitutions. Taking off your most dangerous player could have could have serious implications to the outcome of such a tight scoreline. On Wednesday we head up to Perth to face a St Johnstone team who also chalked up a 1-0 win on Saturday against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. Kilmarnock had the best of the play for most of the game but St Johnstone mirrored Rangers in scoring a goal and with staunch defending holding on to take the spoils St Johnstone have been a thorn in our side over the last two seasons beating us 1-3 at Ibrox in the league cup last season, and holding us to a 1-1 draw at Ibrox in the league this season. In manager Tommy Wright they have a Wiley old fox who is tactically very astute and will set up his team to be extremely organised. All of a sudden teams have been going from parking the bus against us to closing us down quickly high up the park to try and stop us playing our ball retention game. After a 3-0 defeat at Tyncastle the Rangers management team looked to have decided that plan B was not perhaps playing plan A better but bringing in more flexibility in our play. We have now been playing the long ball and bridging the midfield far more than in the previous games. This brought great success with fantastic wins against Hearts and Aberdeen our nearest rivals. On Saturday we saw against the tall physical strength of Inverness that the long ball is not the answer to every game situation though and the important word in the story is Flexibility. That is the word that has been missing from Mark Warburton´s vocabulary until recently. It is great to see someone stick to their laurels but not so great to see them constantly run into a brick wall because they are not willing to alter course. It would seem now that that penny has dropped and that can only be for the betterment of the team. Apart from the Long term injury victims Rossiter and Kranjcar, Lee wallace is also extremely doubtful for Wednesdays game. There have been pages of discussion on the Rangers websites whether he should have left the field on Saturday or take up a standing position on the wing as we had already used three substitutions. Taking up the wing position meant a defender still had to make sure he did not get involved in the play, thus not giving Caley a player a free pass to join the attack. As Wallace never really exerted himself I feel he and the coaching staff made the correct decision as the 3 points were almost in the bag, As the old saying goes a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush. If it is indeed a Hamstring injury that Wallace has incurred then he was always going to be out for 4 to 8 weeks anyway whether he played on or not. I would imagine that Wallace played the largest part in the decision to stay on to play his captains part. While he is not loved by all fans a place in the Rangers hall of fame must be beckoning for the full/back when he retires. One position which has become a first pick is the goalkeeper. Fotheringham virtually won the game on Saturday single/handed with a number of crucial saves at crucial times. I was one of his biggest critics last season and doubted whether he would ever make a top class keeper. He has obviously worked hard with the goalkeeping coaching staff and has vastly improved on last season. His whole game has improved and he commands his area where he was stuck to the goal-line in the past.Much credit to him and the coaching staff. One other point worth mentioning is the position of Andy Halliday. He really has to stop trying to be clever when playing out of defence. On three occasions in the last two games he has blundered by trying to be clever. He is lucky there are no other players ready to step into that defensive midfield position or he may have found himself on the sidelines. If a defensive midfield player is brought in in the January window Andy may find himself warming the substitutes bench. Against the top teams we cannot afford a time-bomb on the pitch. At the time of writing no other injuries have been published and I doubt Wallace will be fit so I think or would like the team to be: Fotheringham Tavernier Kiernen Hill Hodson Holt Halliday Miller Waghorn Garner McKay C,mon the Gers!

I will try and get a preview up before lunch-time.

Fifa discussing rule that only captains can talk to referees

Marco was a world class football player. A piss poor manager and god knows what he is doing at FIFA. Stick to the golf course Marco and save your legend status. You are making a dick of yourself. -
In retaliation to Rangers decision there are rumours going round that Rangers supporters won't be allowed to go to the toilet at the next piggery game,

Alan Stubbs & Alan Smith Discussing Rangers & Celtic
pete replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Gaps can be closed very quickly. If we gain some and they lose some the gap will close quickly. -
Because if you read the letter it has always been done with both teams allowing the other team to do it. No wondering about it. It was a fact. The Celtic supporters behaviour has changed the rules as we will not be allowed to do it at the piggery either. Not much of a loss in my eyes.

It was pretty obvious that Garner was not winning against the larger ICT defenders. I think taking him off and moving the more agile Waghorn to CF would have been a better move. -
I doubt it would have made any difference as he never moved much so I doubt he irritated the injury anymore. What he did do was make sure a defender had to keep an eye on him instead of having a free role. I would have done exactly the same and did do in the past. i would expect nothing less from a Rangers captain to be honest.

Unfortunately I think you are wrong. I doubt if Kelly and his cahoots will ever even be questioned. Liewell and his pawns will in no way take any action against Celtic. If they get right down to the nitty gritty and start to find any organised paedophilia then it will possibly include people in high places so I am afraid there will be no real enthusiasm from any quarters to take this forward. I hope I am wrong.

I am not sure who would take over from Halliday. Crooks hasn't impressed up until now and Rossiter never seems to be fit. I would certainly take Rossiter if he is available. -

Just to open a discussion I saw on FF. Hill was probably one of the best players on the park but does anyone think we missed the play out from the back of Wilson. Wilson's passing from the back was a great get out over the past three games. The other thing I want to ask myself is , What the hell is Andy Halliday doing trying to dribble out of defence, After his blooper last week he got caught twice today trying to dribble out of defence. It would seem he has a dose of Messi-itis. -
I just hate paying for parking as well. 10 pound for 2hrs parking is as GS says fleecing people. I am also certain some people will live on the borderline but will buy a season ticket. I can also see some people buying it on credit and paying it when they get their holiday pay. I may be wrong but it happens with nearly everything so I will be surprised if some do not go into debt to buy one.
-
Many have a season ticket on a pay up basis and 20 pound a month extra cost for nothing is a lot. Better to drive to Goven or Partick and jump on the subway and leave 10 minutes earlier. There will be people stretching the bow for a season tickets and I doubt if the most are earning anywhere near your wage.

I don't think so. With Dodoo still being an unknown commodity the only changes I could see is Forrester for Holt or Tav or Wilson for Kiernaen for the rest I would say this is probably our strongest team. -
It is for me just to park a car. 10 pound can feed someone for at least 2 days.

It is rumoured on FF that the Green brigade are being allowed into Ibrox to set up a card display, Can anyone confirm whether they have been given permission or not. They are hopeless at it anyway with anything larger than a flag with black felt pen writing or blow up dolls being too difficult for them.

Transfer Rumours and Deals - Winter Window 2016/17

Daily Mail: Fulham's combative midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe is ready to leave Craven Cottage in January with QPR and Glasgow Rangers among the clubs keen to take him. The 23-year-old former Manchester United trainee has slipped out of favour under Slavisa Jokanovic and is eager to gain more regular game time. Ipswich Town and Preston North End are also keen on the box to box midfielder who is free in January as he is out of contract in the summer. Rangers' priority is an attacking midfielder but they see Tunnicliffe as someone who could help fill the void left by Joey Barton's departure. Tunnicliffe has the workrate and is ambitious to kickstart his career. QPR boss Ian Holloway is also a confirmed fan.
