I would prefer to watch him play football to be honest but everyone to their own thing. -
They will have their lawyers sifting through all paperwork to see if they can win on default even if they do lose.

It is now pretty obvious that King is not going to put money in unless it is totally necessary. I have no problem with that as we should be run like any business and you cannot spend what you do not have. If he can get Rangers running totally self-sufficient then it is a greater deed than throwing money at a bottomless pit. Hopefully with good football this season and many full houses and a share issue we will be self-sufficient and still be able to buy a player or 2 next season. -
I am sure they would be allowed to build the stand to suit other purposes but as you said I doubt if any of the two teams would be interested. I suppose they could have a Bayern effect having it lit up with blue for Rangers and the other colour for the other team.

A bit unfair as it could still be his preference but Rangers are the better deal. Arsenal could also have influenced him. Don't forget Scott Allen's preference was Rangers until other influences appeared. -
Would we want to share a ground with Celtic. I doubt many will say yes. (On both sides)

Does the UEFA fair play plan not state that football teams are not allowed monies from local councils as it could give unfair advantages with clubs with richer councils benefiting more. I am not 100% sure but I think it does.

Are you sure you changed it. -
Exactly and it used to be that youth players could come through as cover and play for a few years for the first team. Now players are being pulled away even at youth level so it will become harder and harder for a team in the less rich televised nations to win anything in Europe.
-
I was obviously talking about present day competitions. Ajax got goosed at home by Rapid Vienna with a team full of young players. 96/97 was nearly 20 years ago and I doubt if they had as many young players as now. Unfortunately teams as Ajax, Rangers will never be on the top of Europe again as Sky are seeing to that.
-
To be honest it didn't really get Ajax very far. Very young players and an attacking style that is.

No loan fee. That is good business. Is Warburton on a bonus scheme.
-
welcome guy's I hope you enjoy the forum. Don't forget to look into our other fantastic website features as the Gersnet Archive.

Now now Lee remember the boss's conduct code. Prepare for the next match and that is tomorrow.

Mark Warburton set to give Zaliukas the chop Rangers manager Mark Warburton is reportedly hoping to offload Marius Zaliukas following failed attempts to snare Scott Allan. The 31-year-old Lithuanian still has 11 months on his contract at Ibrox but rumours persist he is surplus to requirements after the arrival of defenders Danny Wilson, Rob Kiernan and Dominic Ball. Zaliukas’ exit is expected to be finalised and announced this week leaving the player looking for a new club before the end of the summer transfer window. Get the gambling board in for match fixing I say. -
What about playing the ball through a players legs? Is that not being disrespectful and make a player look stupid. Times are changing and youngsters can now do far more with a ball now than in the past. Surely you can beat a player any way you can. Hamilton won the ball what is he worried about?

Agreed. I will close it anyone disagree let us know.

Great response.

To be fair it was not a couple of months it was a year of his footballing life. I hope this thread now drops down into oblivion. It is time to move on.

It is his decision to sign for Celtic. If he didn't want to he wouldn't have. Hibs may have steered him but he is an adult and old enough to make his own decisions. It is his fault he is a Celtic player, hibs did not put a gun to his head.
