I like it for myself but not for anyone else. I want to be in the know!

To be fair Arteta went on to be a better player than he was with us.

I hope we all get behind whoever is in charge. I would have difficulty with Neil Lennon mind you.

I have made my point clear I am not into the Warburton Weir thing as I see 2 Newbies to the management game. That is not what we need at this moment. We need an experienced manager who has a knack of bringing players on through the youth. No matter who comes in a managers role is always a gamble and never a guarantee that he can turn things around.

I have no idea how you come to that assumption but time will tell.

I am not sure what is changing your mind or making you like him more but I am afraid it will take more than a few people bumming him up in the media to convince me. All the bumming up does not give him a better record or more experience. I personally would prefer someone that has a good track record and been successful at doing a rebuilding job Someone like Henk ten Kate who is sitting at home. He is known to be a good tactician and has managed Ajax and Barcelona(ass,) He will know how their youth systems are built up. Warburton Just doesn't tick many boxes for me. After Whyte and all the stock market thieves we have had I am also not sure I want another stock market person at our club.

Your statement worries me as people think you are super negative. It worries me because that was my first thought as well. I hope we are not starting to clone.

More probable.

It is not only about winning but the standard and type of football that is played.

All you need to do is read the Advocaat story above to answer that. Dick doesn't get out of bed for what we could offer him. We could probably not even cover his travelling expenses. He states he need 6 players. I don't think we will have any trouble with having to fight Dick for any Freebies that are on the go unless they are top players who are just out of contract. Even then we couldn't afford their wages. So I think we will be fishing in a different market.

As I predicted somewhere. The money wolf would return. He will now have a pretty big pension pot with a decent budget to buy players.

None of them excite me very much to be honest.

I was talking to his brother a few months ago and he said Mark was sorry to be leaving Scotland so I also think he will jump at it. His brother is the agent that organises the Rangers pre season tours over here. He is good friends with McCoist and Yogi Hughes he told me. It was when I was in hospital at the beginning of the year and the man in the next bed was his father-in-law. When he heard I was a Scot and Rangers supporter he started singing the sash and ended with FTP. As I had no idea who he was at that point I was in utter shock. I am not sure if Mark Wotte has really done anything great in football management but he seems to have a good reputation on the technical side of the game and a lot of technical directors have not been managers so I suppose it takes other skills.

Directors’ recommendation to the Company’s shareholders

Yes the 5 million loan had no end date and therefore Rangers can pay it at will. Ashely is trying to play the card that the present board don't have the money they say they do and is trying to force the issue and hope some of the Rangers supporters\Investors jump ship and join his band of not so merry men.. -
11 players released including Boyd and McCulloch

Are you a Sadist? -
I agree with you. Rangers should see who is really interested enough to apply. They can also invite people to apply as well though. The bad part is an application process will take weeks and we don't really have that time.

The whole meeting is pointless. -
He probably did if he was coaching them. Does a handicap go up to 1 and down to a hundred. Or down to 1 and up to a hundred. It depends on what way you look at it. I would increase my handicap by going up to 1. Any golfers in the tent.

I think in the old days it was but they day's have seemingly gone and they can now write any s**** they like.

Maybe it is just me and I will say I had never heard of the guy up until he was first mentioned on here but the Warburton and Davie Weir just don't excite me at all. Davie Weir was already a failure as manager and what has Warburton really done. All he has done is gain promotion from a lower league and then take his team to a play-off thus 3rd or 4th place. How many teams get promoted have one good season because they are unknown and then get relegated the season after. The players loved him at Brentford was said but is that a reason he should be made manager of the most successful club in the world. The Rangers players loved Ally McCoist because he was increasing their handicap on the golf coarse instead of doing hard training. I would prefer someone that has actually proved to be a good manager at a high level, over a number of years. I don't see Warburton having much more experience as Ally McCoist to be honest but I hope I am wrong and will certainly give him my support if he gets the job. I just fear we will be looking for a new manager again in 2 years although I do think we will gain promotion next season but I would expect that from any half descent Rangers manager.
