  1. Fantastic News. Now get the forensic detectives in.I am sure his corruption can be traced back to the years he was deputy to de Havelange. For those that don't know his predecessor de Havelange was found guilty of corruption. There was a mystery person in the picture who was pulling the shots. Everyone suspects it was Blatter but nobody dared to fire the shot to bring him down. Hopefully Fifa will have a full enquiry into his practices now that he has gone.
  2. I think we should have kept Moshni as keeper. He can punch better than Bell.
  3. Disagree Gribz McClaren is far too conservative. we would end up with more boring football.
  4. Of course he is.[video=youtube;HkIXHllPy-w]
  5. With Bert van Marwijk. Dream team.
  6. Ah but we have now the biggest sponsorship deal in Scottish history to fall back on now. Mibies No? Mibies Yes?
  7. Nah he is close but Neil Lennon gets that award.
  8. That is probably the remark of the day and the reason McCall won't be kept on.
  9. I had forgotten about Bert van Marwijk. he would be a fantastic choice to set the whole system in motion. I have no idea if he would be interested but it would be a great choice.
  10. I don't want McCall kept on but I totally agree that people are pointing out his failures and forgetting to add his positive side.
  11. I have to convince the wife of that every time I feel he need for sex.:fish:
  12. I think he thinks They should have kept me on and we would have gone up.
  13. Agree we were worse.
  14. Brahim give us a break. Jason Scotland ffs. I hope we set our mind on a bit more than a third rate overage player.
  15. I don't know if Mohsni is a stubborn bar-stewered or not but there is really a good football player in there somewhere. Is it concentration or big headedness I don't know but it is really a pity as he could be so much more.
  16. We are a nightmare at corners. As big Derek says we should be marking players and not space. Space does not score goals.
  17. Can we have a McLeish bashing smilie as I want to use it. He was not a good manager and never will be. McLeish basher.
  18. These are the top Dutch trainers who are out of work although I am not sure about Verbeek as he was with FC Bochum until present. 5. Gertjan Verbeek Hard no nonsense fitness fanatic but misses a soft side and loses the dressing room at a lot of the clubs he has managed. A bit like Paul le Guen. http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gertjan_Verbeek 4. Mario Been A players manager maybe too much like McCoist and McCall for me http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Been 3. Henk ten Cate Pure tactician. Was Frank Rijkaards assistant at Barcelona because of his tactical outlook http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henk_ten_Cate 2. Huub Stevens Would probably cost too much but has managed some big clubs. Just managed to keep Stuttgart from getting relegated this season. Works more in Germany than anywhere else. http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huub_Stevens 1. Bert van Marwijk My Favourite. I would jump at the chance of getting him http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bert_van_Marwijk I Think Martin Jol is also without a club also a manager who has managed at the top. http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Jol I have also said on here often I would love us to go for Ron Jans as he has always taken unexpected teams to a higher level. Herenveen and PEC Zwolle to name 2. He has always worked with a tight budget but still seems to get results. Unfortunately he has just signed a 2 year contract with PEC so he would cost too much.
  19. If Mcleish becomes manager I am giving up.
  20. Craig mentioned that yesterday. Too old and we should be going forward and not backwards.
  21. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-fans-buy-up-more-5786157#rlabs=2%20sitewide Well done guy's.
  22. A lot of the defensive faults are basic simple decision making. I was always taught as a youngster not to let a player turn on me. Why the hell did Zaliukas amble out to the wing for the first goal giving the Motherwell player time to gather the ball, turn wait for back-up and then let the player into the penalty area where you can't tackle. He should have been hard in the guy's back not letting him turn and prodding the ball out for a throw in giving the defence time to regroup. At the second goal he gave Mcmanus about 3 yards to get a running jump on him instead of marking him closely. These are basic errors most schoolboys know about. standing and jumping or running and jumping makes a huge difference to the height you can jump and the power you get behind the ball. With these players every corner or free-kick is a frigg'n nightmare.
  23. I agree with the Shy as well we waste so much time deciding what to do and then decide that cleaning the ball under the shirt is the best method. Oh wait another couple of dummy throws and then throw a hopeful ball down the line.
  24. How often does it happen that when a ball is passed the receiver has to run back 10 yards to retrieve it. Then our opponents have had time to regroup. That is a basic skill to pass the ball in front of an advancing player. We don't seem to be able to get it right very often.
