  1. I personally don't think they are trying to kill us to be honest. They are trying to make us junkies to Ashely's loans, supplying just enough to keep us addicted for more. Any money brought in to the club will go largely to Ashely and he will supply us with more loans giving just enough to keep our addiction fed, Then we will be in the same boat as Newcastle totally reliant on Ashely supplying injections of loans while licking the cream off the top of the milk. What he is actually doing is loaning us a small amount of money he has sucked out of the club.
  2. Got this now as my wallpaper until they are removed.
  3. Personally i think Hibs and Hearts are better than the bottom of the SPL so I would prefer to get promoted and make the first seasons goal just to establish ourselves at the higher level. we do need a total clean-out though. we may be able to keep 1 or2 players but the rest should be moved on.
  4. Yes many say now to their parents that they should enjoy their own life before thinking about the kids. You are also allowed to gift your kids a certain amount of money each year tax free. 4000 euro'sI think but not sure. Many do that.
  5. Frankie retweeted Grant Russell @STVGrant · 4h 4 hours ago There was a powwow yesterday, or crisis meeting if you like, over where in London to host Rangers' EGM. So watch this space. 0 replies 23 retweets 6 favorites
  6. Yes more good news. I only hope the shares came from the enemy camp.
  7. I am not a Boyd fan and certainly never wanted him back but I have to agree the style we play is not suited to him. High balls and tight control were never his forte.
  8. It was funnily enough on the news here yesterday that more and more people are rejecting an inheritance through the fear that the inheritance will be debt instead of a nice nest egg. My kids be warned.
  9. His daughter will never be a part of the equation unless it is put into a will before he is married. In Holland you marry for 50% of all that is built up during the marriage unless it is put in a legal document signed by both parties before the marriage. Kids are not in the equation here. If I die my wife will inherit everything unless I make a will leaving my 50% to my kids. In most cases the kids will eventually inherit from the mother although that also would depend if she gets married again. In that case she would need to get it legally documented that the money she has before her new marriage remains to be hers. Fernando's new wife will also have right to 50% of all that he owns unless he has it legally documented otherwise. If he has a book keeping from St Petersburg that leaves 400.000 unanswered for then his ex has a right to claim the half of it.
  10. His wife will have right to his fortune for the time they were married and rightly so. It also all depends on his marriage agreement and indeed if he did financially mistreat her when they were together. It would be crazy if a wife built up a life with a person while he was making his fortune, taking the good with the bad and then see all the money going to the kids. No chance of that happening in Dutch law in the 20th century.
  11. Let us make our own bed up before trying to conquer the rest of the world.
  12. I have said on here a few times his ex was trying to suck all his money from under him. whether she is right or he is right i have no idea. I do know he was a bit of an idiot in his younger years and as they say "hell has no fury like a woman scorned."
  13. I am not even a novice in these things but totally naive to it. I hope you are right as obviously a share issue is needed for some kick-off cash.

  15. The fact that Easdale has a 26% proxy could stop a new cash injection via a share issue. There will indeed need to be a plan B. could Easdale still buy his way on to the Board?
  16. 100000 shares bought today. http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareTrades.asp?shareprice=RFC&share=rangers_int
  17. If that is so then maybe a deal between king and the 3 bears to sell some shares to make king the largest. Although Ashely could probably buy the 26% Easdale Proxy if he wanted to.
  18. Unfortunately it has to be in Britain I think.
  19. I doubt that he will call in his loan while he has 75% of the retail business hanging on it. i think he will be trying to up his loan to make it as difficult to pay back possible.
  20. They do in Holland at least they always did. I am not sure what the rules are on that though.

    McMurdo

Imagine trying to justify building a 12o feet high extension at the back of a house in Glasgow by claiming your local council in South Africa are fine with you doing it there and you have a letter saying so… That appears to be the logic Dave King is trying to apply with his letter from SARS saying he is OK to be a director of a SA company. Someone should explain to Dave about the small matter of appropriate territorial authority. SARS is not HMRC and it is not the London Stock Exchange. Neither is it the SFA. These bodies have their own rules which must be adhered to. It’s all a bit embarrassing for King supporters who have been writing off King’s notorious SARS trials by inferring it is “only” South Africa – as if South African justice is of the Mickey Mouse variety. Well, that works both ways, unfortunately for King devotees. If being guilty in a South African court is meaningless, then so is a letter from SARS, whose rules King contravened. The point is very simple. Dave King must prove his suitability to pass fit and proper tests over his proposed directorial role at Ibrox with all appropriate authorities and he should do so NOW. This is not just my opinion. I spent this morning in a meeting with other Rangers fans – season ticket holders and shareholders included. All were saying the same thing. King MUST prove he is fit and proper. Particularly in reference to the specific points contained in the board statement concerning the EGM. Of course, there is the possibility that the EGM may not happen within the time frame anyway, thanks to malcontents in the support threatening to turn it into a farce. How ironic that those who desperately want King in are responsible for at the least delaying it happening. How strange that these King supporters do not want the questions over his suitability to be a UK PLC director to be raised, let alone answered. Surely a positive thumbs up from the LSE and SFA would be a massive boost to his/their cause? I keep hearing from these supporters that the majority of Rangers fans now back King. I would dispute this but even if it is the case, the lesson of history should teach us here. I remember when the majority of Rangers fans thought Sir David Murray could do no wrong. I also remember when the majority of Rangers fans backed Craig Whyte. Admittedly, I was one of them. If history teaches us anything, it is that the majority of Rangers fans can get it spectacularly wrong. When it comes to Rangers, sometimes we are better listening to the voices crying in the wilderness than the ones at the heart of the parade. It’s easy to go with the flow and be swept along by everybody else. But you only earn the right to think when you do it for yourself. And when you ask the questions people don’t want you to ask. Here is a wee pointer to get you started: Ask yourself why they don’t…
  22. I have it from a good source that Marks brother has a big soft spot for Rangers, He is the agent who organises a lot of our pre-season trips to Holland and Germany.
  23. Happy dreams. it could have been worse I could have put up a photo of the Easdales.
  24. Does this remember you of Anyone.
  25. Ready To Make An Impact Written by Rangers Football Club RANGERS number one Cammy Bell has missed almost five months of football this season and he's relishing the hard work that he'll have to put in to get back fit and wearing the jersey. Bell is back in training after a torrid time out following a dislocated shoulder he sustained in a match against Falkirk early this season. He's back diving on his shoulder and will be back working with the rest of the goalkeepers at the club shorty and as part of the Gers defence. The keeper caught up with RangersTV this week and said, "I hope that I can make a positive impact when I come back into the team. All I can do is work hard and bring my presence back into the team. "I think that the defenders are comfortable with the way that I play the game as they've played with me a lot before and that will be the same when I get to know the new faces we have. "Hopefully I can bring a positive impact to the team when I come back and can keep clean sheets as that's my job. Bell has only played three competitive games this season before injury, with backup Steve Simonsen playing 28 games and keeping 12 clean sheets in that time. Last season Bell kept 22 clean sheets from 35 games he played in, but the keeper thinks that the difference in standard of opposition has made an impact. He said, "I think that Simmo has done well this season when he has come in; he's an experienced goalkeeper and I think that we do play slightly differently. "Hopefully I can come in when I get the opportunity to make an impact to the team. Some might have said that the defence hasn't been as good this season, but we've been up against tougher opposition. "We're looking to keep clean sheets every game and to let our attacking players go and win us games. "It's something that we'll look to improve on between now and the end of the season and if we can keep more clean sheets I think that will stand us in good stead to either push for the title or to find some good form for the playoffs. Bell will be training with the loan signings from Newcastle for the first time in the coming days and he hopes that his own return will have a similar impact to the team for the remainder of the season. He said, "I think that it will be a little bit like a new signing for the team as I've only played three games this season. "It will be like another new player along with the other new boys who have come in from Newcastle in the last day of the window. "Hopefully I can have an impact when I come back into the team and it'd be exciting for me to get back playing again and in the team. I've really missed it and it's been a hard five months. "I have quite a bit of experience so hopefully I can bring that to the team and bring the confidence that I have into the team. "Hopefully I can help the defence and we know that we are still in a big fight between now until the end of the season. "The title is still there to win, we know that it's going to be difficult but it's not finished yet. If it doesn't come down to the title then we know that we need to be in good form for the playoffs.
