  1. He is just after doing the exact same thing against Real.
  2. excellent first post.
  3. The 15th of April has no apparent importance in the broad scheme of things but two stories in the media and over the internet sites jumped up and stood out for me above all others. Phil Mac Giolla Bhains attack on Stephen Smith. Phil in contact with, The National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Woman Teachers(NASUWT) attacked Mr Smith for being a member of the Rangers Supporters trust and defending the singing of the famine song. The fact is Mr Smith did not claim that the singing of the song was right. He claimed that the response to it was over the top. If I reverse my car into another parked car I can officially say I was in a car crash. While being factually correct it is really an over the top statement. The same can be said be said over the Famine song. The song in itself is a just cheap ditty taking the mickey out of those plastic paddies whose only glimpse of the emerald isle is looking at duck island in the Kelvingrove park duck pond, with green coloured sunglasses on. It would seem if you want to be offended then you can be offended. The Scottish courts have however declared that it is a sectarian song and therefore people should refrain from singing it otherwise they are open to prosecution. Seemingly also on the 15th of April Phil Mac Giolla Bhain released information on his blog, against police wishes, that Niel Lennon had received bomb threats. On the 16th of April the story was pulled from his blog as he probably realised he had full coverage without consequences. Phil Mac Giolla Bhains claims to be a knight In shining armour against social injustice against Irish \Catholics stops when it comes to the truth . I find it weird then that the top story from Reuters on that day was that a Belgian catholic priest thought it was okay to have sex with his 12 year old nephew because he didnt resist. Strange that Phil Mac Giolla Bhain who claims to be a top journalist and fighter against social injustice never mentioned that on his blog I guess his social injustice against Catholics stops at the border of Govan.
  4. Knowing you for a few weeks it would probably be more like a brothel.
  5. I guess we will find out in 48 hours. or not.
  6. Every takeover throws up many questions and uncertainties. I only hope that Whyte listens to the fans more than Murray the dictator did. In saying that the fans also have to play there part on improving the image of Rangers. We saw on Sunday that Ibrox can be a fun place with everybody pulling together that has to be a weekly thing and not a one game wonder.
  7. I actually found that quite funny. How many sequels were made from the real film?
  8. The one thing that makes me believe in Whyte is that I can't believe or find it hard to believe that he is going to pay 25 million up front to Lloyds and Murray just to make a cunt of himself. It can go wrong but that is the case with anyone who takes over. I am pretty sure that the development of Ibrox plays a part in his plans but that can surely only be good for Rangers and Whyte\Ellis. Someone asked why Murray never done the development thing but it would seem now with Murray selling property at give away prices he just did not have the finances to do it. I am no expert so I could be miles adrift of the facts. Question: Would Rangers get subsidies for any reconstruction of the Ibrox area from GCC?
  9. I wonder when the next deadline finishes?
  10. Agree with Dell I don't think it will make any difference to the UEFA decision I can only hope our Legal eagles can keep the penalty down to a fine and another warning. I would certainly be pushing the fact of the good behaviour of our fans in Eindhoven. Punishing fans so heavily, who had behaved so impeccably apart from singing a song seems really harsh.
  11. Bluedell will you forget to fill in the last few games please. Frankie if you read this thread still can you check if BD doesn't have any penalty points due.
  12. You have completely misunderstood me Craig or I have typed something to mislead you. I didn't say Jelavic was more of a legend than Laudrup or at least I didn't mean that I just meant that with his play as he is now showing he has the makings to go on to be a legend. I was thinking more in the terms of Prso to be honest. It does only matter what he did with Rangers and he is a Rangers Legend but apart with a few good seasons at Urdening(I think) and his first season at Munich he very rarely got a game for any of the top teams. In the grand level of things he was not a world class player.imo
  13. The stokes tackle was a horror tackle and he should have walked, but again I think Thomson had a bad angle for the Ki challenge and to be honest it is one of those tackles where one ref will give red and another a yellow card depending on how they see it..
  14. Gribz he was not a success at Bayern and not a success in Italy, not a success at Chelsea and not a success for Ajax. He was a success in Govan and not the world. He really was a mediocre player that was on the better side of normal Scottish players. Plus he played in a team that was far better than the nearly bankrupt Celtic team. I am afraid your world class is world class in Scotland.
  15. Look at the tackle from the Camera at the rear of the incident. It looks like he just tripped him. i believe that Lafferty's body was covering the referee's view. I think the ref just got it wrong because he was unsighted. These things happen in football games.
  16. Everyone considers Laudrup as a legend while he was actually just a mediocre player that ran away to Chelsea after four or five years. I rate Jelavic far higher than Laudrup.
  17. Agree with you full heartedly. These guy's are the shame of Scotland that see shadows on every corner.
  18. Simple answer craig you have now seen it probably umpteen times in slow motion. I do not know where the Ref was but from the rear view it just looked like an ordinary trip. We really are starting to sound like Tims on here. The Ref never gave it and I can see why lets move on to the next game.
  19. His play and his attitude have all the makings of. I did say starting. Obviously to be a real legend will take more but you have to start somewhere and he is doing it more with his play than with his mouth. All the makings are there imo.

Totally agree with him on the Edu part. I was a big fan of Edu when he first broke through but he is now a serious liability. Is it a lack of confidence? I don't know but he is not SPL class at this moment and only Walter doesn't seem to see that.
  21. Two words " Off Fuck" Rearrange in the proper order. These people are killing the atmosphere at football grounds. The next thing will be that Rangers supporters have to wear green and white scarf's otherwise our opponents will feel victimised. Repeat word 3 and 4.
  22. I have seen red given for less. His studs were showing so it should have been red. Would I have given it if I was a ref, then the answer is no.
  23. The big man is starting to become an Ibrox Legend. Sorry to hear that Papac will be leaving but to be honest I would prefer a more attacking full-back.
  24. I hope your not insulting all the arseholes of this world at least they have a very important function. More than Lennon has.
  25. You know that was my thoughts as well. I think they will lose points against the Arabs as well.
