Points on the board! Has been proven time and time again.

To be honest I think the correct player got it. And after tonight I am 100% certain;).

Very valuable but there are many of those things during the season that add up to league champions.

Keeps the forum going! -
It depends if anyone reports him and I doubt they will.

I really love that seal\sea lion.

I would imagine someone will have to complain.

Hopefully our home form improves and Celtic's stays the same as tonight. Lets not count our chickens just yet though.

Whyte offer rejected rumour - denied by Johnston

Disagree MF without all the pockets of information we would never have had heard of Whyte or known anything. I think it is essential people keep giving information whether it being 100% spot on or not. How often have you heard the police say we want all information no matter how small you think it is. Somewhere in a mass of information lies the truth. -
It is a pity they didn't as the goal difference would have been down to striking difference.

Yes it is really strange and the only reasoning I can think of is Murray thinks: Rangers= MIH thus debt is for MIH. If Smith buys over Rangers then he also buys over any debt thrown up. Something not right somewhere. -
This is taken from fanhouse uk. I have no idea how much knowledge they have though. http://www.fanhouse.co.uk/2011/05/04/david-goodwillie-ready-to-try-his-luck-in-the-english-premier-le/

Whyte offer rejected rumour - denied by Johnston
pete replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
As with the HMRC debt I found Murray's statement that if he takes over it will be a debt for MIH but if Whyte takes over it will be Ranger's debt. That seems very strange to me that Whyte hasn't got that sorted out and is willing to take it over from MIH. I can't believe that to be honest. -
Thanks Craig I thought I may be looking too simple at it but surely Whyte would never give up having less than 51% of the shares no matter how many shares were produced. So as you say at one point no matter how many shares there are the shareholding would probably stay the same with only possibly the minority shares changing hands. As I said for Whyte to drop to 51% he would need to have 100% assurance that he can count on Ellis to back him and that would be a dangerous game I doubt he will play. He would have the majority but a very small one.
-
I am not an expert so please correct me if I am wrong anyone. Whyte would get +\- 90% of the shares. He has already promised Ellis 25% which means he would have 65% left Unless he trusts Ellis always to back him or has it legally tied up he would need to keep 51% of the total shares to be sure of complete control. That would leave him 14% of the shares to deal with to get others on board unless Ellis takes a cut as well. While other backers may go for the 25%, I doubt they would be interested in ploughing in money for 14% of the shares. Is this too simple?

I Think you will find that it is just the front shell and main stand that is listed. Rangers could also build round that. That would mean that it could be developed as long as you kept these features and incorporated them into a new building such as a shopping centre. Not 100% sure but I strongly imagine that is the case. The pitch and the modern stands are not listed as far as I know. -
The time has come again that the transfer rumours are starting to flood in. Now we all know that 98% are bullshit but waiting to chat about signings until after they have signed would miss out on a lot of discussion. Here we go and please add. In: Ivan Trickovski. Whyte offer rejected rumour - denied by Johnston

What is worrying me right now is the fact that Whyte seems to be borrowing the money to play. I would hate us to be back to 55mill in the red and in a sort of Glazier situation. The Ellis part of the deal worries me as well. Why would Whyte give him 25% for hee haw or on a gamble that the Ibrox development could go through. I am starting to become frightened of the Whyte deal, I feel we have far more to lose if the borrowed money is based on Rangers assets. -

So we would not then be in debt for 19mill but for 55mill with Murray park and Ibrox on the line? -

I know the same sort of situation happened with Manu and the Glaziers but can someone explain to me how Whyte can take a loan to buy Rangers and pay off Lloyds and the debt comes to Rangers. Surely any loan Whyte takes to buy Rangers would be his? Would Rangers not need to take out the loans to be responsible for them?
