  1. That is my thoughts as well Frankie and have put it up front a few times with a question mark. After all what does Ellis do but transactions between a buyer and a seller. Kings hands are tied by the SAR(?) but if he does have cash put away and he really wants to buy Rangers then picking a front man would be the way to do it.
  2. If you believe that then fine i don't think we have ever banned anyone for speaking their mind. I am not sure about Ellis but i do believe NL has contact with him. From what i have read is that Ellis doesn't have the cash to buy Rangers alone. He states he has no partner so where is the money coming from. King using a front man?
  3. Frankie and Bluebell have met NL so that rules him out of being a tim supporter. Given that what would he gain by bull-shitting. A month of interest and then banned for life by all the sites he posts on. That just doesn't add up for me so i will give him the benefit of the doubt until someone can prove he is lying. I doubt they can or ever will.
  4. It is in the Record and the Herald. I can't see two papers making up the same story.
  5. I haven't seen enough of McArthur to judge but i know he has been linked with us for a while. When i am watching rangers playing i don't really see the opponents unless they are far better than us.
  6. Rangers are leading a string of clubs monitoring Partick Thistle keeper Jonny Tuffeyââ?¬â?¢s form over the closing games of the Irn-Bru First Division season. The Northern Ireland inter-national was outstanding despite the 1-0 defeat by Inverness Caley last weekend that ended the Partick promotion dream. And that man-of-the-match display also drew rave reviews from Caley manager Terry Butcher, who could also be interested in taking Tuffey to the Caledonian Stadium next season if Inverness lock down the Division One title. But SportTimes also understands Hearts manager Jim Jefferies has made an enquiry about the 23-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season. Motherwell gaffer Craig Brown is another who may be poised to move in the summer when John Ruddyââ?¬â?¢s loan deal from Everton expires. Down south, Championship sides Derby and Doncaster have also been monitoring Tuffeyââ?¬â?¢s form. But, with Ibrox chief scout Ewan Chester having been a visitor to Firhill on several occasions and Ibrox No.1 Allan McGregor possibly set for a summer exit, Tuffey has hit form at the right time to come into the frame for his boyhood heroes. Tuffeyââ?¬â?¢s agent Mark Taylor said: ââ?¬Å?Interest in Jonny has hotted up after his superb display against Inverness. It is no secret that Rangers have had Jonny watched and I guess a lot will depend on Allan McGregor. ââ?¬Å?There are other clubs in the SPL who have been watching Jonny, while Derby and Doncaster have also shown interest. ââ?¬Å?That is understandable given that Jonny, at 23, is already a full international and will hopefully go on to become Northern Irelandââ?¬â?¢s No.1. With Jonny out of contract on June 1 that underlines the bargain he would be.ââ?¬Â The Partick preference is that Tuffey will get his move to the next level via the SPL. The keeper joined the Jags on August 1, 2006, as a 19-year-old Youth player from Coventry. The Firhill club would be entitled to cash if the player moves to another Scottish club through the Under-23 rule ââ?¬â?? but face losing him for nothing if he heads back over the border. While Thistle would be looking for a five-figure sum, believed to be in excess of Ã?£50,000, the matter would likely go to tribunal and also open up the possibility of a player recompense deal for Thistle. Meanwhile, Jags skipper Alan Archibald will be out until September after the knee damage he sustained in last weekendââ?¬â?¢s defeat by Inverness proved to involve a ligament injury.
  7. Knocking out an 18 stone rugby player. You can't say he hasn't got guts.
  8. If you put him in the hole you are filling it with shit.
  9. Have you joined WBC in posting between doing the cryptic crossword in the Herald.
  10. It is a total shame that anyone so young has to stop.
  11. Yes i think he will sign a two year deal. Why would he leave to sit in Liverpool's reserve team.
  12. That is what will keep him at Rangers. He may have to have a few promises of first team games though.
  13. Rangers will survive without Chris Boyd believe me. We have replaced better players than him.
  14. That is also a matter of opinion. No matter how good a manager you are the players make or break you. You can take a horse to water but you cannot make it drink.
  15. So Mr Ferguson say's he had to get sharper fitter faster for the EPL. Well Barry i will give you this. If you got faster fitter sharper in the SPL you may have had more success with Rangers. Paul le Guen tried to make the team faster fitter and sharper and you stabbed him in the back. The truth is you played a handful of decent games since you came back from Blackburn. Your big blown up ego probably stopped you getting fitter and faster in Scotland. You were always carrying some sort of injury which seemed to stifle this new found faster fitter sharper when you were with rangers. Not Rangers doing or the SPL, just a pure lack of motivation from yourself. You thought you were bigger than the club. If you do get your chum to join you down in Birmingham then i have one thing to say. Watch your back Alex.
  16. I just hope Bougie is back soon as he defends well(mostly) but offers a extra dimension in going forward. Wilson is certainly one for the future though, so i hope we extend his contract him as soon as possible.
  17. He is probably hoping that he gets the sack so he can apply for the tim job again.
  18. Och everybody loves big Mick,I'm so happy for him, I can now go happily to my work.
  19. Yea i would have though 25-30.000p\w was more realistic.
  20. I also think that as a young teenager people tend to idolise players more whereas when you are older you tend to look more critically at them. (This is not critique on your reply Frankie just a generalisation)
  21. My 1mill was taken from this article in the Herald that WBC posted.
  22. Correct me if i am wrong but did rangers not offer him 18.000p\week. 1 mill is just over 19.000 a week, so the money difference is not really that great. I don't see the financial side being the swaying point if this is the case but playing in bigger games would be his motivation to go. Or is my arithmetic become so bad?
  23. I think that is generation cast. I would say Baxter and Tom Forsyth(as Favourite defender), I am sure my father would say Geordie young, Willie Woodburn Willie Waddle etc. I will admit on not seeing a lot of Gough though as i lived in Holland in that period and i did not have the communication possibilities i do today. I was mostly trying to get a tranny to pick up a weak signal in those day's. I even sat out in the car on many European nights as the car radio seemed to have the best signal. The neighbours thought i was crazy.( Nothing changed there then.)
  24. My name just seemed to get dropped, was my first attempt so bad or did i miss a call. I must admit i forget to look in this thread. I don't like to put folks names down without asking here first Pete... I'll note you for next month though. You can put my name down for one of the future games. I was under the impression that the list at the start of the thread just kept rotating that was the reason for what possibly sounded like a grumpy post. It wasn't meant to be grumpy sorry for that.
