  1. It is still 2 minutes behind my PC time.
  2. Technical talent i still think the de Boers would would win it, there are not many more technical footballers than Ronald de Boer. Personally i feel Brian was idolised to be a better player than he really was by the Rangers fans. He was certainly different class in the Scottish league but very mediocre in the bigger leagues
  3. I have to support Holland or i would get beaten up by the wife and kids. The front of my house is covered in orange flags and the Dutch tricolour. Some people here have there whole house covered in orange tarpaulins and all sort of flags. it makes things quite colourful. 2-0 good start although i only saw the end due to work. Remember me praising Elia and Honda so much over the last 2 years well they certainly showed that i wasn't wrong in my judgement.
  4. Michael Laudrup was the best of them all and far better than Brian. Brian Laudrup was excellent for us but was not really successful anywhere else. He was a disaster at Fiorintina getting hounded out the stadium and hardly played at Milan. Coming to Scotland was an escape from an Italian hell for him. At Chelsea he hardly got a game either and was nothing special at Ajax. So i woud put them in the order of: Michael Laudrup Frank de Boer Ronald de boer Brian Laudrup For me 2-3 beats 1-4 so i would say the de Boers were more successful.
  5. He cheated! He is getting information from Sepp Blatter.
  6. They said that the save from Green in the second half was a great save but in my eyes Green was very lucky the ball hit the post. The angle of the shot was always a keepers ball but Green left too much space between him and the post. A weak palm let the ball get behind him and lucky for him onto the post. If he was positioned correctly and had a strong hand the ball would not have got near the goal.
  7. Sorry Alex i disagree with you. Filtering through the bullshit is a lot of good opinions and facts coming up. i have learned things from this thread i had no idea about before hand. Shutting this thread will not stop the bullshit it will only move it to another thread. I would suggest it be shut when a deal becomes official making the thread out of date. I can only say if you don't like it don't open it. My opinion.
  8. I think you can say that about any system. If you are 9 or 10 points behind then something is not right.
  9. Another thing i find strange is the story of Chris Akers having made 300+ million on a deal but has to scour the middle east to fund things.
  10. We still must not jump the gun the story is full of could be, would be,etc. We have heard these chants before which came to nothing.
  11. Thanks for that Ian but i must admit i don't really put much credence on you-tube films. I remember a fantastic film of Sebo and that has put me off for life.
  12. Rangers turn their attention to Maoulida to bolster their attack heraldscotland staff Share 0 comments 8 Jun 2010 Rangers could be set to take advantage of the financial crisis that has enveloped French side Lens, by signing experienced striker Toifilou Maoulida in a cut-price Ã?£500,000 deal. Reports in France suggest that the Ibrox club, in the grip of financial restraints themselves, have lined up a move for Maoulida to bolster their depleted attack following the departures of Nacho Novo and Kris Boyd. While Maoulida ââ?¬â?? who has previously been a target for West Ham United, Stoke City and Newcastle United ââ?¬â?? doesnââ?¬â?¢t quite carry the goal threat of Boyd, he is highly experienced and respected as one of the most colourful characters in French football. He has starred in almost 300 top-flight games for the likes of Montpellier, AS Monaco and Olympique Marseille during a 13-year career ââ?¬â?? with a goal average of one in every three games. However, itââ?¬â?¢s his goal celebrations that have brought him plenty of headlines with his own unique take on the ââ?¬Ë?message on a T-shirtââ?¬â?¢ routine. To avoid being booked for raising his jersey, Maoulida, who was 31 yesterday, started a new craze in 2005. While starring for Marseille against Nice, he tied a tissue to his shorts inscribed with thank-you notes to family, friends and fans ââ?¬â?? a celebration he has since repeated 39 times with a unique message each time. Signed by former Rangers manager Paul Le Guen for Rennes as a youngster, Maoulida ââ?¬â?? who is similar in style and presence to former Ranger striker Jean-Claude Darcheville ââ?¬â?? is keen to try his luck abroad and would view Champions League-bound Rangers as the perfect place to kickstart his career. Despite being Lensââ?¬â?¢ top scorer in a successful promotion campaign the season before, Maoulida found himself relegated to the bench for much of last term, but still scored 10 times in 24 games. He took a voluntary pay cut in the New Year as Lens were threatened with closure due to spiralling debts and is one of seven players the club have placed on the transfer list in an attempt to bring in some much-needed funds. In recent weeks, Rangers have also been linked with Portsmouth pair Tommy Smith and David Nugent, as well as Honduran World Cup striker Georgie Welcome, as they try to fill the void left by Boyd. Welcome, who players for Motagua in his homeland, is believed to be available for Ã?£600,000.
  13. Yes i will wait until it is signed sealed and delivered before i get the champagne out.(Well i will make that a dram i hate wine.) Unfortunately if true the guy is going to start in the cellar of trust and work his way up. Only time will tell if he is good or bad for rangers. The fact they are not clearing all the debt worries me as i remember we were at 10 mill before and it soon grew to 30mill. Hopefully their management skills will be better than Murray's
  14. I'll second that, although Novo may have been looking for promises Walter was not willing to give.
  15. To be honest i don't think Velicka will get in the 1st team on a regular basis. I won't be surprised if he is sold or put out on loan to free up his wage.
  16. Confidence is one thing, believing in miracles is completely different.

No problem you should have asked me sooner,i thought it was quite obvious.
  18. 4-3-3 with no onus on the wingers to track back. That is playing Russian roulette. Any 4-3-3 has to break into a 4-5-1 when defending for it to work.
  19. I am afraid it wasn't just that one season he was shite. He had one fantastic season under Advocaat and the rest were excuses of Barry not being fully fit.

The day Barry Ferguson came back into the team PLG was a goner. We were playing excellent football up until that point. The enemy within is far stronger than the enemy you know you are fighting. My respect for BF is 0.001. Everyone was to blame but him. Funny how we are actually winning leagues since he left which we were not doing with him as captain. PLG's big mistake was to change a winning team by letting BF back in.
  21. I will be sick if Bougie leaves i really rate him highly. As for Wilson or Broadfoot we have Webster to cover their loss.
  22. Yes it has June the first.
  23. To make yes but to download no. The finished version is to download in a winzip file further down the page.
  24. I really thought he was a great prospect pre-injury and estimated him far higher than Hutton but unfortunately he wasn't the same player when he returned from injury.
