Lets face it if you can't score many with Wesley Sneijder and Rafael v/d Vaart behind you then you can't score. Look at Robin van Persie.

Arjen Robben? Na Walter would need to go out Rob'n first.

Taking your wife and kids(if he has them) to a country with such big cultural and social differences is very difficult, even for a few years. While Boyd would be at training his wife would be stuck at home not being able to talk to anyone. The kids would need to go to a Turkish school or have a tutor keeping them within the 4 walls of his house Believe me I know how difficult it is to move to a country with a different language and I didn't have the cultural differences to overcome, he would have faced. He may have got through it being involved at the club but it would have been a hell for his wife.

Have you see him much Frankie? He is a hider. there are games where you hardly know he is playing. Maybe he would be a hit in Scotland with big CH's that need a mile to turn but but he was a disaster at Ajax.(Well a big disappointment anyway) Franny Jeffers, Lovenkrands and Buffel spring to mind. He doesn't have the speed of PL or the skill of TB
-
God no! He is crap. Did nothing at Ajax. Werder are doing nothing to hold him. No thanks. Vive le france. Viva Espana Ζήτω Ελλάδα.

Yes I for one believe you should never turn back time and bring players back as it very rarely works. So thanks Chris and all the best. I hope you prove your doubters wrong including myself. You can certainly be proud of what you achieved at Rangers. Top SPL scorer quite an achievement.

Holland! Holland! Never really felt like a Holland supporter until this world cup But i am now totally caught up in the hype thanks to my family and friends. The front of my house is covered in Dutch Orange flags and the Dutch tricolour. Holland deserve to win the world cup once after failing in two finals. I still think Spain will win it as i did from the beginning but i will be supporting the Dutch until the end. Holland!!

Professionalism is i think the good word. If he is a true prof then he will do his best for whatever club he plays for. He chose to sign for Rangers over Celtic because he thought it was better for his career. The fact that as an 18 year old clubs are willing to pay millions for him means he and Rangers have seem to have got it right. As for supporting one team and being a success with their rivals is not new. There are plenty of Rangers supporters who made it big at Celtic. Kenny Dalgliesh and Danny McGrain spring to mind

Surely you can support the Scottish football team and still feel British?

i missed a round.

To be honest as i live near German border and work with many Germans i don't have any problems with them as a people. They are now just ordinary guy's the same as in most western countries. With me it all boils down to where i watch the most television. I watch mostly Dutch TV, BBC and ITV and over the years have become sick of hearing about 1966. They even rammed a quiz down our throats, They think it is all over, for years. I would hate to be hearing about how the English won the WC in 2010 for the next 40 years so i am happy they are out. As for football the Germans were far better and deserved to win.

I doubt if King is one bit interested in what the RST has to say. If King does want to take over it is what David Murray has to say he will be interested in. God that sounds like a Washbash post.

Funny i thought the selling team made the price! Have i missed something is has Boyd definitely gone. If so where did he go? I thought i read yesterday that Brummy didn't want him so i took it he was still on the market.

Was he not pissed off with Murray for letting his 20mill evaporate without any notable difference?

Just as a matter of fact now that we all know SDM is totally in charge, has any supporters unit ever talked to him about the supporters buying out his shares. He wants away surely he can do us one more favour and let us buy his shares in batches

He sat on the bench and in the stand for Twente. He hardly played at all.

Keisuke Honda. I hate to say i told you so. I tried to tell rangers but they threw me a deafy.

Paul Le Guen as well i woud imagine.

Mixed in with Geoff Hunts goal in 1966.

I agree with Calscot on this. i don't hate individuals but i do dislike their arrogance as a nation. I am not biased as i don't give an F who beats them. My WC hell would be England and Argentina in the final. I would prefer that someone stole the trophy.

If you guy's stop throwing insults at each other then maybe we can get the thread up to the the level of decent discussion. You don't have to agree with each other but insults add nothing to the thread.

Just as a matter of order Mainflyer, if the board of the RST do resign, will your name be the first on the list to be part of the board who will have better ideas. Mostly the biggest bugles contain the most wind.

To be honest i think the only way a united supporters group could happen is if the club run it themselves. It is indeed strange that they run a young supporters club but just seem to throw this good initiative out the window when people become adults. I still think a package of discounts on Rangers TV, season tickets, one game tickets and on strips and clothes at stores would be a huge attraction for people to join the club and help sales on the above products. This would give people the idea that they are supporting their club but also getting something back in return. Obviously one of the adders in the grass would have to be the knowledge that MIH or the bank can not put claim to any of the membership money. I know this would not be as easy as it sounds but i really think it could work and if it works for young supporters why would it not work for adults who have their own financial means?

I can. Brazil had already qualified, the second yellow meant he misses the next game but is free for the following rounds. All part of the FIFA bullshit world cup which is more for making Fifa rich than an honest football competition.
