I am beginning to wonder if our lads will snatch a draw from out of the jaws of a comfortable victory. -

We are playing like the score is 0-5, which it ain't, but it is a dangerous ploy, esp. with this referee. -

There can be no justification, whatsoever, for disallowing Arfield's 'goal'. -

Red mist. Red card. It will be 'controversial' no doubt. Ref will have to 'even things up' in the second half (if not before). -
Moyes is a surname of Flemish origin, so one might surmise descent from Huguenot refugees, fleeing religious persecution. He was in the BB. Find out the age of his granny, and many of the pieces of the jigsaw will be in place. Worrying.

St Mirren support serenaded the fhilth with "Prince Andrew - he's one of your own, Prince Andrew - he's one of your own......."

Could you work without a Director of Football? An Assistant Manager? A First Team Coach? A Fitness Coach? A Goalkeeping Coach? A Rehab Coach? A Video Analyst? Oh, and a Coach Who Coaches Coaches? (Asking for a friend in the motor trade.)

Sufficient numbers to ensure that we wouldn't have to worry about jobber teams scoring against us

I often have a smiley face when I am in The Horseshoe Bar, if that's any help.

Why break the beautiful symmetry of horseshoe-ball?

It is an odd rule, if it is a rule.

They did benefit. They got another pot at goal despite it being their player who infringed.
-
Yes. But they benefit from their infringement.
-
Did these swine get the benefit of their own infringement after McG's (1st) save?

Better than I thought, significantly better than I feared. A puncher's chance in the second half.

Don't listen to the Manager - the players don't.

As if, mon ami, as if!!! I don't suppose many have thought that if Scotland was an Independent Republic, then Club and Country would be able to bring UEFA to heel, and quickly. I am not quite sure how, but it stands to reason.

We don't know what happened behind the scenes, and perhaps we shouldn't speculate. Travel insurance. Surely organised trips will be covered for cancellation by force majeure, Act of God, or UEFA caprice. Independents? Surely no one is travelling without some kind of cover for accidents, medical emergencies, theft (Naples, FFS!), and the rest?

I really don't know what people expect the Club to do. It appears to me that: Poileas Alba has said you can't play on Tuesday, but you can play Wednesday. However, if you elect to stage the match on Wednesday, we cannot accommodate/police any away support. UEFA has said that the match may be moved, but if there are no Napoli fans allowed at Ibrox, then, in the interests of fairness, or, dare I say it, 'sporting integrity', no away fans will be permitted to attend the reverse fixture in Naples. And them's the rules. The Club, I suppose, could complain, lobby, or even do a Stugeon, stamp its feet in irritation, and denounce a scapegoat, but none of these options seem like to move Poileas Alba, or UEFA. Perhaps the Club should have tried to have the fixture switched to a later date, leaving the game in Naples unmoved, but that would need the agreement of UEFA, Napoli, and broadcasters, to do so, and consensus on an alternative date, in a crowded calendar, made worse by the ridiculously timed World Cup. Would that help any travelling Napoli fans, booked for Glasgow this midweek?

You'd want it turned on, and not off, but I take your point.

A focus on competing, and making a big splash, in European football, at the expense of the home market, would make sense, perhaps, if the aim was a disposal.

We might have sold them.
