  1. Mildly surprised at Dean Shiels leaving. Thought he'd make a good squad player for a season, especially as a sub. Hope there will be an additional signing to replace him.
  2. I think he's one for the club to ignore so as not to give him the exposure he craves.
  3. While hardly a slapper, it's still not the classiest look IMHO... Not really the look I'd go for...
  4. I can't see how we can allow away fans if there is strict liability, especially the OF. With sport it just doesn't work. It might work partially with UEFA due to the very small numbers of away fans who are travelling due a different country tightly controlled and more easily monitored. I do wish our fans would stop singing and chanting a few stupid words and songs - we have very little to be afraid of otherwise as I think our fans seem generally well enough behaved when compared to the number of them. I don't think they get how much a giruy it would be to the rest of Scottish football, to be loud, boisterous and unPC in other ways but squeaky clean when it comes to any form of bigotry, dangerousness (ie flares etc) or violence. It should be easy, they are mostly grown men after all.
  5. You know, if the police had apologised that they would normally have been there in numbers but they were expecting extra time and so got caught on the hop, they might have had some sympathy, but they really have made a rod for their own back...
  6. Should be about half their season ticket holders judging by how many came on the pitch... probably a couple.
  7. I still can't believe we're probably the only country in the world where so many people would take the side of Franco's Fascist Police, but then a certain section of our society have a record of supporting fascism - yet we're "loathed".
  8. PS Sorry for hijacking the thread - maybe these posts can be moved?
  9. I actually paid for it! Didn't get on with it, with some very necessary but basic features were missing that made it a pain to use. The main one missing was - go to first new post in thread, not last post in thread. Navigation was also clunky - although not that much better in mobile view. Maybe it's changed so could try again. I often prefer to just click "view desktop site" but the "view first new post" buttons are a bit too small when using a touch screen. Yep.
  10. I clicked on the text field for edit and it deleted the post - it's happened a few times and I've seen others say similar. I can't find another radio button to click... I'll have a go at it again later with a short message and report back...
  11. I've got to admit that I find today's press as whole, ridiculously stupid, arrogant, lacking in insight and possessing no self awareness. I admit to not being sure whether they are using any intelligence to doing all that deliberately as a some clever ploy to sell newspapers...
  12. I have to agree. The press should "get it right" firstly when getting it wrong gives an inaccurate meaning, and secondly when it is widely used by many as propaganda to try to harm our club. Useful idiots indeed.
  13. Personally, I'd like a lot more of this - it may piss certain people off, but only for the right reasons and with truths. They don't give a shit about pissing us off will lies and black propaganda.
  14. I really don't know what was wrong with the statement - if there is criticism about what people are writing, pretty much detractor of the statement is starting in the wrong place. It should take a few decades to go through condemning a lot worse in the press, the plastic press, the football authorities, the police and many from other clubs, before getting to that one. In fact the weird thing is that if the statement is bad for criticising what people said and didn't say, then surely the non-empathetic criticism of that statement is exactly the same and therefore just as bad - except maybe they didn't name names? The way we are treated is completely bonkers.
  15. Thanks, but maybe not, you probably won't like it and now thinking about it, it's best deleted. However, it is a major problem on the mobile version...
  16. Clicking edit in mobile view strikes again...
  17. Sounds like the police have learned nothing from Hillsborough, and the Record have learned nothing from the Sun's part in that.
  18. That picture could have been taken in any era in the last 50 years...
  19. Didn't look like a few hundred Rangers fans to me. More like about 100-150. By the same token, I thought it looked about 3000 Hibees rather than 5.
  20. I suppose the one up side of this, is the sudden acknowledgement by all and sundry of our history - Barcelona, Manchester, 1980 etc.
  21. You can imagine all the Hibs fans in 20 years time saying how they were there on the pitch at Hampden when they won the cup. Then when asked, "That was a great run, did you go to all the games?" "Eh no." "Did you go to the league games?" "Mmm no." "Did you go to any other games at all?" "Nope." "How many in the last 20 years?" "Erm, one." "And in that one and only game you joined in a riot on the pitch where the opposition players were attacked?" "It was exuberance!" Sad people.
  22. Or using the same type of weird managerial judgements, maybe Warburton ruined him, or at least was inept at improving him... Or maybe it's something else... Again not defending Mccoist, just so bored with the continual demonisation which is little different from how other fans and the media treat us. Blame Rangers, blame Mccoist.
  23. Yep, the Rangers player who was assaulted by several Motherwell players...
