  1. For Craig Whyte. He must have been on cloud 99 today. Greeted as a hero outside Ibrox, then sits down in the Directors' box as a lifelong Rangers fan and watches us hammer Hearts. Imagine how he must feel as a true bear, to actually OWN this whole club. Wow.
  2. I'd just like to know exactly what our financial state is now. Debt gone? How much for new players? etc.
  3. Who's saying Whyte's putting us in 50M of debt next season?
  4. Latest is STVRaman tweeting that there's a hold up, and it's 50/50 to go through today. Was this ever going to be straightforward?
  5. This I know, I'm not THAT far ahead of myself
  6. Welcome to the world of the fickle football fan. They're calling for Lennon's head after holding vigils for him, we're looking at 10IAR after begging someone to steal a win from Celtic.
  7. Funnily enough I just subscribed to Sky Sports yesterday (held off for long enough but given the run in is entirely on there I had no real choice) and one of the first things I saw was a show dedicated to MVB.
  8. I agree exactly with the OP - I had exactly the same thought yesterday. If this weak Rangers team with all its on and off pitch troubles can secure the league against a healthy Celtic with a good manager, imagine how strong we'll be when/if the takeover is complete. There is no reason we cannot dominate in this country. But yes, I accept this is all getting slightly ahead of ourselves here...
  9. I was happy with Beattie but he turned out to be absolutely hopeless. I knew it from his second appearance onwards. The rest of you were giving it the old 'ah, he just needs time to get up to match fitness'. Naw, he was just absolutely pish.
  10. They are of course my second team, Rangers are obviously #1 by some distance, but I just thought I'd start a thread to point out Milan should win Serie A tomorrow with at least a draw against Roma. The reason this matters is because it's their first Scudetto since 2004, so quite a wait. Any other Rossoneri on here or am I the only one
  11. It was the Stuttgart game in Germany he was excellent in. I remember the game against Unirea - for some reason he seemed to be made the scapegoat and barely featured after that.
  12. Walter's actually done well with the signings he's made in his second spell. All have contributed something or other. The only blatant failures have been Webster, Gow and Beattie. Unless you chaps can think of more?
  13. We're back to disagreeing
  14. Thought I was watching the ghost of Laudrup so I did. 18 minutes of sheer magic. He didn't quite keep that up but was very useful at times. Like most wingers though he could be posted missing all too often.
  15. Just hearing word that Johnston has confirmed he'll step down. Utterly delighted to hear that, hope the rest of the current board follows suit.
  16. Big miss to them, other than Izaguerre their POTY.
  17. I didn't see any of the 3 quoted in the above slagging off Celtic?
  18. It appears I agree with you more than I thought Yes, his ING or whatever it was sports organisation connections were going to be a great boost to the club but nothing ever materialised.
  19. I like him, and I hope he stays.
  20. As I saw on Twitter, it's amusing that 2 weeks ago they were holding a candlelight vigil for him, now they want him to leave
  21. Not really an argument, I just generally don't agree with what you often say
  22. Jelavic out is news to me. Really hope we keep him but if they come calling he may well move. He never hid his desire to play in the EPL.
  23. I'm in a good mood I haven't liked AJ for a long time, and I'm merely curious as to Healy's purpose.
