Maybe my browser isn't viewing this site properly but I don't get the site at all. It appears not to be working properly for me I guess. I saw nothing about Walter Smith there.

I'd prefer if our players didn't fuel it.

It's a trend, in the modern era, which started as far back as Barry Ferguson to Blackburn for £8M. Since then we've made a habit of breaking our fans hearts by selling off our top players for vast sums. Boumsong, Cuellar, Hutton, GVB etc have all gone on for massive transfer fees and gutted every fan in doing so. They all say 'I'm here for life' or 'I love this place, I'm staying' but naturally the big boys come calling and we bow to money and sell off our prized assets. Sometimes it really works out - the Boumsong money went to getting back Barry, bringing in Kyrgiakos, Wattereus etc who all won us the title. But it never gets any easier to take. So when I woke up, on Friday the 13th to hear Jelavic happily telling the world Man Utd are supposedly interested for £13M I really didn't know what to think. If a club that big want you, for almost every player it's a dream come true. And Jelavic has been honest about wanting to play in England - he's good enough and it's his dream. I guess I just hoped we'd get more than an injury disrupted solitary season out of him.

Staying at home. Trying to get rid of the missus for the day
-
The only thing to bother me is that 2 days before we play the most important match of the season, our prized asset comes out with this.
-
One which isn't related to the club? We didn't say anything about the Dida incident. Why this? I'm not sure this wasn't a misguided statement.
-
We could hardly expect an overnight clearout of the deadwood.
-
Another 2 who couldn't behave. Fireworks and flutes hardly helped them. Plenty of high profiler OF'rs have stayed out the limelight and been just fine.
-
I can't stand him, but Lawell is right, this is a social problem. Ours is an ill society, and consequently people in public positions like those in the OF should behave in a manner which doesn't provoke the neanderthals. Walter managed it, MON managed it, Advocaat managed, Mowbray and WGS were fine, Eck and PLG had no problems. But Lennon is his own worst enemy. Don't poke the bear you fool. Unfortunately Lennon has stuck the knife in it and doesn't expect to get mauled?
-
Hardly surprising - a complete bampot who's clearly a few screws loose, but what other individual in British football provokes this kind of reaction in people?

http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?28283-The-Lennon-situation Lennon really is his own worst enemy. I remember that time he wound up Rangers fans at Ibrox then just fobbed it off as nothing more than 'humour' and said he didn't want to talk about it. Just can't help himself.
-
Shameless bump for this one. Seems more and more people are coming round to my way of thinking in the OP. Lennon's conduct is why he's been targetted. I saw a post on Facebook pointing out MON, a Northern Irish Catholic had NOTHING like the problems Lennon has. It's nothing to do with religion, politics or nationality and everything to do with how hated Lennon is by Scottish football and Scottish society as a whole.

So £24k would be ok?
-
A wage he's worth. We can afford a bit more now, and as long as his demands are reasonable, I think he's worth £25k.

http://www.rangers.co.uk/articles/20110512/deal-me-in_2254024_2358562 Too much to quote, but he seems desperate to stay. Says he's waiting on a phone call.

Well at least the intro to the programme raised a smile.

Quite honestly I don't pay any attention to Leggat. He's a fan with a keyboard - he was fired from NOTW, right? And no one else is picking him up. His views don't interest me.

Yes, that bastard Reid has not been spouting his anti Rangers filth at all recently. Such a hateful figure. -
I'd rather not have to wait that long! I'd like them to win earlier, if you know what I mean.

What would be your ultimate OF 11 from this season be? ------------------McGregor Whittaker---Weir---Majstorovic---Izaguerre Naismith-----Davis---Kayal----Commons -------------Jelavic---Miller I was torn between Majstorovic and Bougherra, but Bougherra's had such an feeble season by his previous standards and I am led to believe Maj is quite a good defender even if he was horrible in both the recent matches I saw.

Jim Jefferies has nothing to prove. I quite like him and the way he goes about things. A less successful version of Walter, quietly dignified and most people give him respect. Most, that is, bar Lennon.
-
Ha. I'd have agreed had it been Rangers tonight. I can live without the scum on the big telly on this occasion.
-
Speaking of the CL, it would be qualifying rounds wouldn't it?

Interesting, it was other tims who shopped him in... -
And then had a blinder last night. Maybe I was a little generous, but I think he's had a decent season.
