  1. I was most bothered about him encouraging Magic to leave...
  2. And after looking deep into the stopper's eyes he's convinced the Algerian ace IS totally focused on Gers. As soon as I read the above, I knew this was pish from the Sun...
  3. Saying he admires Gaddafi, saying Magic should move on? What next is he going to come out with...
  4. Just because he's opened talks doesn't mean he'll stay. But it would be a marvellous boost for the club if one of its genuine assets stayed on.
  5. Bougherra's quotes are unreliable at best. One minute he's rejecting a contract extension and wants to leave, the next he wants to focus on the club and leave transfer stuff till the summer.
  6. Can I be nosy and ask who BDTS is? First time I've seen him here.
  7. "Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra has been offered a £35,000 per week, tax-free deal to play for Qatari club Lekhwiya. (The Herald)"
  8. I don't know if you could really call him an asset anymore. Maybe in his first couple of seasons but this year he's just not really done it. If we get £2M for him I'd be utterly delighted.
  9. I think C Ron is under rated, if anything.
  10. I'm just not sure what his value is. His displays have not been of a particularly high standard this season.

Good to have you on board Stuart.
  12. What, the link is nonsense, or the price?
  13. What bothers me about all this is not the sanctions, it's the fact that glorification of terrorism at Parkhead and by their away fans is going completely ignored because some bright spark decided to specifically go after sectarianism and bigotry - what makes what the dark lot over there sing any more acceptable? It bothers me that we're targetted for our offensive singing, and they aren't. Both should be called to task, or neither.
  14. Ness had a quiet game. Seriously to God, do the sponsors just pluck a name out a hat?
  15. Saw a post on Twitter saying there's speculation linking him to QPR for £600k. TBh, that's about as good as he really is, so it's a fair price. Especially on this season's displays. Be nice if we could get more but I can't see it.
  16. Gets better with every passing game. Was a total menace to St Mirren today, won a penalty, could have bagged a hat trick. He's becoming, shockingly, a total bargain and it's a delight to watch him. Definitely my favourite player, and I'd have given him MOTM not Davis.
  17. I remember reading an interview with a former team mate of his, who said if he'd had the right attitude he could have gone to the very top. He has the ability apparently, but not the mentality needed.
  18. I cannot believe Bougherra is in there and Miller isn't.
  19. Seeing as we're kinda whoring our Twitters here mine's @D4nny_G13. I have a whole 13 followers right now.
  20. Maybe pacey wasn't exactly the right word - I think I meant strong runner - when you have good balance and upper body strength you can fend off challenging runners more easily.
  21. The game last night was a decent match, which most games at Pittodrie usually are, but it's, as mentioned elsewhere it's 2 men who appear to be the difference between where we are and where we maybe might be if our standard of play dictated it. Jelavic is a class above, as is McGregor, and thanks to them we still may win this league. The fact that no one from midfield or defence merits a mention at the moment is worrying, but not a lot we can do about that.
  22. McGregor and Jelly (as I like to call him) are our most important players right now.
  23. I'm just amazed to see any lawyer behave in this manner - they are supposed to represent clients and have no opinion on the cases they take on. Isn't that their raison d'etre? This guy is coming out and slandering the SFA and to a lesser extent Rangers. I'm almost curious as to what tim fans think of his comments.
  24. Yup, he's won us the last 2 games with quite glorious goals. If we're honest he's too good for us, let's just enjoy him while he's here.
  25. I may be moaning about the standard of football coming out of Ibrox these days, but there's no moaning about Jelavic. His goal last night was a piece of art, and it really does look like we've captured the ultimate striker who's a combination of Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd, and some technical class on top. You get what you pay for, and we've paid £4M for a striker who is only 5 behind Hooper in half the time - there are worries that he's too good for us and we're a stepping stone to the Premiership, but in this day and age anyone who excels in this league comes under that category. He wrote himself into Ibrox folklore with his winner at Hampden, and is truly looking the real deal - a technically excellent striker who has skill, pace, strength and bags of goals in his armoury. Money is tight, but £4M is starting to look a bargain.
