    Pulling together

This isn't all GS's fault. The powers that be at RM in the past made clear their sentiments towards FF, sentiments I shared at the time before RM started to go the same route as FF. They're 2 peas in a rotten pod and one admin on RM trying to fix things seems thoroughly forlorn. Naive and admirable, but forlorn. I have experience of it first hand.

    Pulling together

Let's just say I know of plenty of bad blood between RM and FF. Whether that's a thing of the past is something I couldn't expand upon. The problem is you don't just have inter forum rivalry and pettiness, but intra too. There is so much infighting within actual forums, that it's hard to take seriously attempts to overcome it. I tried, and failed.

    Pulling together

I think the nonsense between these sites is why I don't feel any initiative carries water. Again, JMO.

    Pulling together

The only people who don't care about the past nonsense are those unaware of it. If you didn't care about the nonsense in the RST you wouldn't have quit the organisation. If I didn't care about the nonsense on RM I likewise would have stayed there. Not trying to start an argument in an empty room here, just saying how I see it. JMO as they say.

    Pulling together

The only difference between the two forums is FF seems to cater for the older, maturer poster. Both generally appear full of crap otherwise.

    Pulling together

Idealistic hogwash - these large forums have far too much baggage to begin to hope to 'pull together'. I've checked RM out recently - it's full of sexist, sectarian, bigoted bile. It didn't use to be that way but a couple of nameless individuals on there have more power than anyone else and have let the place go to shit in the last 2 years. Which is why I quit. Others have had the power to change the place but chose not to - they just let it go to the wall. I don't deny there are some good people from there - I know plenty of them, but so many of them have stopped going on. I cannot take anything the admin team from there say seriously.
  7. BBC say there's no agreement.
  8. Hutton's mediocre.
  9. It's been posted time and time again how poor he is these days. Now that Ness is fit again he should take that slot without any doubt.
  10. Nacho's Sporting Gijon this evening defeated Real Madrid at the Bernabau meaning Mourinho's incredible record of never having lost at home since his early Porto days is over after 9 years. Quite an amazing record. Never thought it would go.
  11. What a bloody shock that would be!
  12. He was once a great leader who did invest heavily in the club and great credit for our turnaround in the 80s must go to him, but now he really is well past his sell by date and his time is up. Thing is he knows that more than anyone and wants out. I just don't think I believe the stuff about him wanting to sell us to reputable buyers who will take us forward. I think he just knows there are issues with our infrastructure which can scupper deals so he has the former excuse on standby when deals fall through.
  13. Clearly no one does which is why no one knows the correct name of our league cup
  14. Not seen enough of Hemmings to comment but Hutton does nothing for me.
  15. I know it's an easy mistake to make, but pundits are doing it too. And they're not only doing that, but Clive Tydesley called it the CSI cup! Chaps, once and for all, our league cup is called the Co-operative Insurance Cup.
  16. Did anyone see Jelavic against France. Wasn't heavily involved in the game, but didn't look out his depth. He's a good technical striker with plenty of talent, but I'm still not absolutely sure we've seen the best of him yet.
  17. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't expect this to go through. I want to be wrong, but I just see no evidence that it looks any more promising than failed attempts in the past.
  18. The only players from our youth setup who actually impress me are Ness and Wylde. The rest appear to be distinctly average.
  19. I'm no tim sympathiser but my utter cynicism regarding this and every other takeover rumour we get embroiled with means while I agree tims will be hurting if we do get taken over, I have to agree that I see nothing yet which convinces me this is the real deal. If it is, I'll be delighted to be wrong. But I've been right too many times in the past on this issue.
  20. Any drier and you'd be in the middle of the Sahara.
  21. No one seems that bothered that we literally have no defence? No Bartley, Bougherra, Broadfoot. McCulloch still a wee bit away from a return, so our defence is forced into being Whittaker, Weir, Papac and Foster.
  22. I still don't bloody believe any takeover talk unless it actually happens. And if this does go through, will Ally actually have money to spend. And if so, will he sign Alan Smith...
  23. Indeed, and yet goes back to his crappy old Rangers ways playing for his country. Odd one eh?
  24. Not a fan of the skin change. I can't really expand, it just doesn't really arouse me.
  25. Heard the Smith one - apparently it's the first transfer business Ally wants to do when he takes over.
