Oh we are the underdogs. Against just about everyone. But those are the conditions we thrive in and our team really isn't that bad at full strength. As long as Uncle Walter gets the tactics right.
-
Jim Traynor definitely wrote this?
-
Jelavic, Diouf, Weiss, Davis, Edu, Naismith. They're not bad.
-
And I remember him at Tynecastle taking 87 touches where one would do. He was terrible.
-
One of our worst signings ever but shows good grace about his time here and compliments the fans.
-
Indeed, I was careful with my wording.
-
He's the new Boyd. A player to totally divide the fans.
-
You're no fun But being serious, regardless of ability, we can't afford to lose ANYONE from here on till the end of the season. And now I hear Lafferty may be out as well.
-
I hope you see the irony of this. You've just started a thread about putting a defender in a holding midfield role, overlooking the fact he isn't one, then shoot down the idea of a CM in the holding role (which he's done well in so far frankly). Do you see the paradox? As for Edu being shit and in the wrong sport, I think you're deliberately playing devil's advocate to provoke replies.
-
I'm not shooting this down because myself and Totti have disagreed on one or two things recently, I'm shooting it down because Walter Smith doesn't try radical alterations in his squad unless absolutely forced to. Naismith in midfield is one of the few examples where he was forced to play someone utterly out of position. Bougherra will stay in central defence no matter what happens with the squad as Walter is too stubborn to try new things. And tbf why would he play him in the holding role when we have Edu and Ness perfectly adept there?
-
They're practically the same person. Difference is in his prime, Lennon could play.
-
Whereas I based mine on...what exactly? The car you drive?
-
tbh, Blackburn Rovers could beat Rangers or Celtic. Do agree on the rest though.
-
Brown is now what Lennon was - a wee poisonous wind up merchant with no class. Difference is Lennon could play. Brown's garbage.
-
Interesting, so you condone his calling me a tim sympathiser but condemn my curiosity at his name? Maybe I misjudged you altogether. Especially given he 'sat in judgement', as you put it, at me:
-
Diouf has started well up here, hasn't been provoked by a lot of tit for tat at him. And he's played very very well.
-
I'm not sure what to make of Totti. I don't get the name, for a start. And sometimes he can be reasonably fair and accurate. Other times, like in this thread, and in another post where he called me a tim sympathiser, he is so wide of the mark it's untrue.
-
Kaka has been past his best since 2007. Milan made a killing on him, and now Real Madrid have given up with him too. Also, Milan haven't played the diamond formation you allude to for about 4 or 5 years.
-
All the best Cammy, best wishes to you
-
You might want to read the thread about his signing then. Only Gazza was complaining about him spitting on a tim.
-
You're apparently a dick when you're drunk then. No one on here should ever be called a tim sympathiser. Pretty low comment to make.
-
I'm gonna be controversial here, a major reason we love Diouf IS because he spat on a Celtic fan. We'd be kidding ourselves if that wasn't a major reason we liked him coming here. The other is of course the fact he's a very good player and maybe slightly better than our predicament would normally allow us to get.
-
Sounds like Wabash or whatever his name was.
-
Except when you disagree with me. By default you must be wrong on those occasions
-
I repeat; did you lot just read the comment about why Rangers fans like him and assume it's pro Timmy propaganda? Whatever this journo's leanings may be, that isn't the most anti-Rangers article I've ever seen. Read it for chuff's sake - there's plenty of objective, nay, supportive stuff in there.
