  1. Curious, Bougherra apologises publicly, while Celtic sweep their behaviour under the carpet.
  2. His departure to Boro was the beginning of the end of his career. He'll sink to the bowels of English football then eventually come back to some bottom rung SPL team. He was onto a damn good thing at Ibrox and his ego and greed got the better of him. Fool.
  3. He needs a good partner. He's also looking, as you and I agree on, like he's rather stuck at Ibrox with no decent suitors coming in to buy him. His form this season has been patchy but the season before he was excellent. I don't know what the future holds for the Bougherra Rangers relationship.
  4. These threads are always fun. Effectively they see fans moan about who they like and don't like and nothing constructive ever comes of it. So to add to the mayhem I'll throw in my 2p. Good enough: McGregor, Bartley, on form Bougherra, on form Whittaker, Papac just, Bartley, Davis, McCulloch, Naismith, Diouf, Jelavic, Ness, Weiss. Some players have a lot of adjusting in attitude and performances to do - Whittaker, Bougherra, Weiss, Edu and Diouf are 5 notable examples. But the problem is we don't have the money to make wholesale changes to this squad so we're really stuck with what we have. We just have to hope injuries ease up and we get a bigger squad back.
  5. Yes really. He's had a get stuck in attitude since he's been here. Got more involved than many of our players.
  6. A crucial goal which put us in the last 16 of the Europa League?
  7. Foster's done well and deserves a chance. He was one of our better players last night.
  8. Bougherra's form remains patchy, enough has been said about Weir, Papac remains adequate, and Whittaker is ropey at best. Bartley looks a class above the lot of them and should be in from the start as a first pick in defence. Above Weir. Could be that Weir's poor season has affected Bougherra's.

    Mo Edu

I thought he was absolutely excellent during the run in of 52 when he came in from the cold and was one of the major reasons we won that league imo. Been giving him chances this year but he's just been horrible.
  10. I remember you! Nice to see a familiar face. Agree on the Weir point - he should not be selected for games other than the diddy sides. Bartley is far better an option in every sense.
  11. Ah right, yes, the vast majority of their supporters are mentally unstable.

    Mo Edu

How bad is he these days? Yes, he scored a belter against Motherwell at Hampden, but his passing and positional sense is getting worse with every game. I used to be a really big fan of this guy but his displays this season have been abject. He's not the only one in bad form, but as soon as Ness or Lee are fit they should be in there.
  13. Lennon didn't blame anyone other than his own team when they lost at Fir Park. And I think he's as big a cunt as the next man. Let's try and remain reasonably balanced on this.
  14. Why bother. Our fans on these forums will have a go at them if they do.
  15. Funny, when we do that, we criticise our staff for getting involved. Walter Smith had a go at Celtic a week or two ago and was slagged off on this forum for getting involved.
  16. Rumours rumours rumours. Third hand quotes. Utter conjecture imo.
  17. The players and managers inflamed last night. Both sets of players were firing in full blooded 'challenges', managers were going nuts at each other, and players were getting involved in the touchline and the tunnel. The conduct of almost everyone involved was pretty awful, and it served to inflame the watching punter. The players and managers were the trigger, the fans the bullet.
  18. How would ANYONE know what Ally said! This sounds like a made up quote tbh.
  19. Class isn't winning us much right now. I am as proud of our dignity and integrity as the next man, but unfortunately we're not backing it up with ability against timmy. So it's a bit useless on its own.
  20. Our passing at times is actually irreprehensible. Mo Edu last night was playing something other than football. His team mates appeared to be in green and white.
  21. Posted this ages ago. Lennon has the measure of Walter with relative ease. First time in Walter's 2 spells where the Celtic manager is clearly doing better than he is.
  22. I know the OP has no real reason to lie, but I have made it a rule never to believe any takeover rumours. They just never come true.
  23. *slaps Gazza with a smelly kipper*
  24. Interesting piece. Seems to be true, given the point about Edu's Twitter. Good to see our manager exacting strict discipline at this crucial stage of the season.
