I'll try the heavy grit sandpaper thing but you're getting the medical bill buddy.

If you say Spain is the best football on the planet I'll slap you with a smelly kipper.
-
You don't understand, non Arsenal fans too read this and were disgusted by his attitude, which came across as vile and totally mercenary, as well as arrogant and smug. It's not about who he plays for, it's the fact a footballer could belittle the working man by being insulted at being paid a week what most of them struggle to earn in 3 years. A matter of 5k.
-
Sadly I must confess we are 2 different people. Even at my most controversial I could never hold a candle to his wayward comments.
-
Quickly becoming? He's been hated ever since he released a book in which he described how disgusted he was Arsenal wouldn't pay him 5K more to get to 50K I think it was, hence him leaving to Chelsea. He got the nickname Cashley Goals from that. He is a very, very unpopular footballer.

Ally McCoist: I'm already identifying signing targets
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I would bite your hand off for Wilkins as assistant. As for signing targets, don't we need money for that? Unless we're bringing in more loan deals of course... -
Celtic with their 8 point lead and looking pretty at the top of the table, us off the back of some inconsistent results and performances. Today this collosal machine was humbled rather meekly by a fairly mediocre Motherwell side, trounced by us a few weeks ago 6-0, while a Weirless Rangers dispatched St Johnstone in a toothless but ruthless manner. There I was practically polishing the league trophy off to give to the mutants, when suddenly the league is turned on its head and it's in our hands again. Now, there's still a fair while to go, but I am going to remember today the next time I feel this league is done and dusted. It's twisting the night away. I would also like to add the footnote that without Weir at the back we look far more robust and reliable. But apparently Walter's implied he'll be back for Wednesday, which I don't like the sound of one bit. His presence is a major handicap.

I know generally most forums don't like chatting about banned members, but I just logged on to find that curious chappy Totti is gone. Can I be cheeky and ask what happened?
-
RM, VB, FF - they're all cut from the same cloth. Right wing extreme forums which house many views I wouldn't expect from decent minded people. I can't speak for VB and FF, but RM didn't use to be this way. It's taken a murky path.

.... Oi!

All I'll say is I'm glad we're playing PSV and not Lille.
-
PSV are better than Sporting but not by a massive amount. The Dutch league is terrible these days, and they beat Lille because I believe Lille had men sent off and their manager sent to the stand. Sampdoria are poor these days, 14th in Italy. PSV won't be easy but they are beatable. We've beaten better.

I'm not going to dampen this thread, because God knows we need to be positive, but Weir's awful now, and as some have said, threatens to undo all the good work of his previous seasons. He shouldn't be playing now, Bartley should start in his place, and the first thing Ally can do is to persuade him to retire. Or plain not pick him.

I hope you're not blaming Kyle for his pricetag?
-
tbh he's Peter Lovenkrands all over again. Was totally wasted on the left wing, and started to get a run up front alongside Buffel where he became the country's top scorer. In his wisdom, Eck put him back on the left and his form rapidly went south. Lafferty's the same - he's never been any good on the left, and that's mostly where he's played.
-
“I haven't really hit the heights that I have done in previous years and I think there is definitely more to come from me,” Well, at least he admits it, now for him to finally start htting some form.
-
*puts hand up* Kyle might be a bit hot and cold, but name a striker who isn't. When he's in the mood and on form he is extremely good - hell, I recall the pelters he got last season died down up till about January this year because he was showing signs of form. It's only in the last month the criticism has returned. Until he gets an extended run up front, he will never be consistent. And that's not a luxury he's ever had at Ibrox. So he basically has no chance.

Shitty match ball? That will do me as an excuse.
-
I am going to look at this positively and say he's learned from as good a mentor as you can have, and will also have learned the mistakes Walter's made and can eliminate them. Hopefully we'll get the best of both worlds.

The Internet really does bring out the worst in people.
-
Still 5 points off the pace in Spain though. I hope they claw that back.

I've heard something about a comment made by someone East End inclined about 'raping protestant children'. And that this had ended up in the hands of the police? I know nothing about what happened, or anything about it. Anyone able to elaborate?
-
Then I urge Walter to rediscover the consistent management he produced earlier this season. It just hasn't been right since the start of December.
-
I'd much rather have Wilkins than Gough.
