  1. Tbf Craig, we already do. We did that sponsorship of the Killie game inspired by Vanguard.
  2. Peter Liewell is a dirty filthy lying bastard.
  3. I swore i replied here...anyway i said bears is getting a hard time but no one's offered any answers for my queries...
  4. Maybe, or maybe it's the end of one club and the start of another. Maybe fans of Airdrie Utd/Airdrieonians would be handy in terms of their views.
  5. I need one thing clarified, and it's something Craig pointed out a while back - did Celtic actually end up in administration or did McCann save them from it and start running them with a new company? Because the 2 situations are completely different - one's the handing over of the club from one company to another, the front end being completely transparent to supporters who would still follow the same team, and another is the potential winding up/liquidation from admin which leads to the end of the institution and a completely new one started up in replacement. Like Airdrie Utd - they are NOT Airdrieonians although they share some staff.
  6. Me neither. And none of the rest of us have. What we're talking about is the idea of the club folding and a new one forming. We didn't walk away from the old one, but a new Rangers would be such a bizarre prospect. It would probably have to start in the 3rd division and I guarantee Ibrox wouldn't be full every other week.
  7. Whyte's been saying this for a long time...

    Some light humour

Seen that one. Wasn't bad tbh. First heard about it on my blog.
  9. Not sure how you got from Bears comment to this conclusion Pete?
  10. Where did you hear that?
  11. If we wind up, which would be beyond mortifying, I haven't decided if I'd totally support a new Rangers. It might be that Milan become my #1 team and new Rangers would be #2. That would be a surreal world.
  12. I would not be shocked if this scheme can raise money, but I would bet my buck teeth they won't raise what's been pledged. What's the theoretical amount at now anyway?
  13. When it was originally conceived, I am certain one of their main men, possibly Templeton, wasn't overly positive about it. But naturally I can't find that link now. But seems they've changed their minds anyway.
  14. This is what I've been fearing and waiting for all this time. It's why I didn't want to talk about team selections, formations, best sides, or strikers (sorry for having a go Gribz!) - because it was all tempting fate and assuming we were keeping these players. I wanted to wait till our squad was finalised first.
  15. Never a truer word said Matt.
  16. Why does the OP article say this has RSA support when they criticised it? This is completely Dingwall and no one else.
  17. I'm sick and tired of them behaving in such a low and base manner, conducing themselves so poorly, without conscience, morality, or the slightest hint of dignity. And as an aside, if they win the league at Ibrox, last thing I want is their vermin celebrating at our ground.
  18. Indeed, it was a new rule brought in after that to effectively encourage clubs to run within their means or face a 10 point reduction if they found themselves in administration. And we're the first Scottish club to suffer said reduction.
  19. It seems they've reneged on a gentlemens' agreement. I have zero problem with making this next OF match a tim-free zone. They're by and large a bunch of cunts.
  20. Not to rain on the parade here but one of the officers or whoever in court gave testimony that the 'average joe' would indeed have considered this package a bomb. So in answer to the original question, well, it's only emerging now that on a technical sense they weren't 'viable devices' but at the time initial reaction suggested they were.
  21. As high regard as we hold Souness in, the bottom line is he ditched us for Liverpool. It will always leave a sour taste.
  22. You may or may not know that I used to be both an admin and a mod on RM - trust me, moderation on a forum that size is not hard at all as long as you have scruples. That forum once did, we upheld the rules and the content was good quality - but slowly but surely certain individuals put traffic and growth as #1 priority and let a lot of poor content go unmoderated simply because they wanted to get bigger. That's why I ultimately quit - myself and one or 2 others became sick of how poorly they were moderating and what they were allowing to go. Now they have rules such as no abuse to other members yet there's shitloads of violations of this and moderators and admin do nothing to clean it up. It, and FF are just badly run - and one and the same if they simply ban members for farting. I also remember RM was all about no bigotry or sectarianism, yet taig, tarrier etc are simply allowed without any checks. There ARE good members on there, plenty of them, but it's gone a long way off course from the one it started on.
  23. I'm not indulge me...
  24. Knowing Shagger's our #1, they make the goalie kit green?!
  25. As an aside i don't adore the royal family but i do have a litte time for them. Sometimes seeing our pomp gives a wee bit of pride at being British.
