I agree with you on that Boabie. I know he gets a lot of stick on twitter but he put himself on there. Most fans give him stick at the games when he is garbage. The same as any other player if they are rubbish. It’s a shame he didn’t apologise properly and all this would have gone away. Its over now and he is stuck with what has happened. We can’t change it so on to today’s game! Let’s hope he has a good game, as they all do. Ayr will be right up for it.

Match Preview Schedule 2017/18 (All writers welcome)
cooponthewing replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I will take one of the fixtures post split if it’s all good with Pete and everyone else wanting to do one? -
Just a question. If he had forgot about it straight away why was it up on twitter later?? Why didn’t he just apologise properly and then we move on? In my book it’s complete disrespect for his own fans. That’s my last mention of it. As a few have alluded too, it’s becoming tiresome. Look forward to Sunday at Ayr

Heart and Hand Extra - Partick Analysis and Ayr Preview

Windass has ability I know he has but he hides and goes missing. He has more bad games than good. Not to mention jumping out the way of every tackle. Anyway, back to my point which was the supporters require an apology. Why one had not been forthcoming even via twitter I don’t know? I have never rated him that highly so he will always be guff to me -
Heart and Hand Extra - Partick Analysis and Ayr Preview

Not from me until an apology to fans who pay good money to watch his guff, is forthcoming. -
This guy is a fantasy mouthpiece. I have heard him on a few phone ins. Hates Rangers with a passion. I have walked to the mhank dome a few times and my scarf is hidden for obvious reasons. It’s called common sense. This guy was just looking for a reaction and he got it. Why not just hide your scarf on the way up? The scot squad even keep them behind after final whistle. Bearing this in mind why did our calamity cops not advise them to put their scarf away when walking to the ground? There is absolutely no evidence of this yet the gutter press can print it?

Same principle by looks of it? Borrowing money paid back when ST money comes in? As long as it’s small amounts I guess it’s ok but i know nothing about it?

It is ironic and you are correct. That’s not my point. My point is that it is “what it is”. That’s football supporters worldwide (mostly) they live in an ironic/hypocritical world. I do too, it’s just how it is. That is what I mean by “shooting the messenger” (and that it not literal either). Windass (or anyone else) is a football player who knows (I hope he does?) that’s what fans are like.

Are we really debating the pros and cons, rights and wrongs of lambasting players for being rubbish? This happens everywhere and we all do it at some point. Do you really think it was a good idea what he did (I suspect you don’t?) and when he did it? As I said in my last post no point shooting the messenger, it’s done now. He will get it ten times as tight now than what he did before from some quarters. It’s not clever telling your own fans to shut up. No matter how much you try and spin it.
-
I have no idea how to respond to that?. Pay Windass £7.50 ph and I won’t shout at him. While he is getting thousands per week and playing garbage he is getting it tight. My only point again is if he thought that was a bright thing to do (and Windass May have?) then he was wrong. No point in shooting the messenger, it is what it is.
-
My point was him getting it tight because he is anonymous for large parts of most games. He hides and would not go in for a tackle even at 70/30 in his favour. Most fans at the games see this. They/we pay our money and have every right to tell him he is garbage when he is (which is a lot). Him gesturing to his own fans is his choice. He knows what the reaction will be, I’m only explaining it. FWIW i think Windass has some qualities but gesturing to the fans to shut up won’t win him many friends in the stands.

Facilitated by the MSM in Scotland. If any reporting of said incidents suffered by Rangers supporters, reported in a flippant derogatory narrative.
-
We are all proactive fans mate, surely you understand people feel they are entitled to criticise if they feel the need? It’s up to Windass if he wants to behave like that with the fans. He knows he will get stick for it, he chose to do it. If fans were giving him grief it’s because he has been poor. Every player gets it tight when they are poor. I wasn’t there so I don’t know the level of criticism but as he is a player on several grand a week, if your pish, fans in the stands let you know. I’m not one for statistics as they don’t provide the full picture for me. Windass is a liability in my book.

I still don’t understand the substance of that song? Is it a reference to the subway loyal?

gersnet article (image) Standing up for Ibrox accessibility improvements
cooponthewing replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I have said a few times that you may find that those in the proposed standing section end up paying for it (or subsidising it?). I genuinely hope both the initiatives can be completed as the disabled facilities are not adequate or appropriate.- 50 replies
