  1. Their bile and sneering hatred is in your face 24/7. There is no banter about it, the emotion is undiluted resentment towards us. On another note I have never understood the need for them to be out and about 7 days a week with their mhanky tops on? A matchday, on holiday or playing 5 a sides is acceptable for adults. These rockets wear them for nipping round the forge shopping, taking the kids to school or any hour of the day to be fair. They are traveling on busses everywhere too! No disrespect to anyone living overseas (I have done so myself so I’m speaking from experience) but you forget the social climate and daily challenges here. That’s perfectly normal as everyone does. Scottish society is riddled with bigotry and resentment. It has done for centuries and will never change. We need to defend our club and culture as it’s attacked at leisure here.
  2. I agree although I couldn’t be bothered booing. More acururate to say I can stomach lafferty but Naismith “Gee’s me the boke”.....You can add Kirk Broadfoot of Kilmarnock to that list too though.
  3. Surely not Boabie? Last week was “great result” “the perfect game” “they vare in the driving seat”....We were informed all week! Despite the fact that any team losing 1-0 away in a first leg still considers themselves well in it. Ahhh the good old MSM.....
  4. The elite clubs will form their own super league Bill. It’s when not if I’m afraid. It’s what the smaller but financially dependent countries can do to maximise collective revenue. The elite clubs will look after themselves. Having said that, when all these elite teams form a league it may not be the utopia they suspect. How will the clubs and fans feel about being bottom of their leagues? Clubs/Fans used to winning will suddenly be losing. I wonder how there attendances will hold up? How will it look on TV with half empty stadiums?
  5. Im sure you can’t be 100% certain on that Pete? Opinions change due to many factors. If they were asked again when/if the elite clubs break away I suspect they may find it attractive.
  6. I am with the Atlantic idea and have been on about it before. The elite clubs will eventually have their own league. A North Atlantic League makes perfect footballing and financial sense to me. I am not averse to Frankie’s idea of a cup either. My preference would be a league though.
  7. Can I be the pod psychologist I’m a cross between Frasier Crane and Carl Lightman......(of Lie to Me fame).
  8. That’s what I was getting at to Boabie. Rockets the lot of them!
  9. It looks very very similar to the subway underground poster that’s all over bus stops. Illustrating Glasgow landmarks you can reach by subway. That looks remarkably like Ibrox but you can’t be certain? Complete shower of roasters!
  10. Really pleased with the fortitude we showed in going behind and coming back. Windass is a constant threat when he is going forward. I have criticised Windass and imo he is still yet to shine when it’s the big stage or it gets physical. However, he was fantastic today and two weeks running done his talking on the park.
  11. Crystal Palace probably the pick of them. Good luck to the guy. This will come back to bite us in the ass. He has everything and has never been given a proper chance.
  12. Wes is a good keeper but he is poor getting down. I commented on this at the beginning of last season and he is still slow to get down to the corners. The first goal concealed v Hibs was another he should have got. There is nobody better at the moment so a new contract seems good business for everyone.
  13. Wasnt there revenue 90 million though? GS there is something not right there. They are falling over themselves to get shot of dembele and Tierney to the highest bidder. They won’t spend any big money and there own mhanky brethren are mentioning “biscuit tin”. Who cares anyway, apologies for discussion that lot.
  14. Oh dear.......
  15. That can’t be anywhere near sustainable for them? No wonder they are trying to sell.
  16. I mentioned on another thread that I had a suspicion all is not what it seems at the mhank dome. They are trying to flog dembele and tierney for as much as they can get? As soon as they can get it? Very little spent and some of them are starting to ask where the money is going? The majority of them are truly obsessed with us rather than focusing on their own team.
  17. There is not enough time in the world to write a report on that lot!
  18. That was Beaton though and he blatantly wasn’t using a balanced approach when refereeing. The rest are just bad referees but this guy and imo Collum seem to have real problems with objectivity when in charge of our matches.
  19. I have heard the rumours about their stands. I suspect similar to what you have heard Rab (especially the main stand). I have nothing concrete on anything else something just dosnt feel right? They are desperate for money and even their own are now questioning where all their money has gone?
  20. On this particular issue Rab I have noticed something over the last few months. I listen to snyde phone in as I’m usually out and about. Father Keevins has binned all the “don’t sell our top players guff” and has been shamelessly promoting the sale of dembelle and tierney for as much as they can get. I have a feeling that all is not what it seems over at the mhank dome? Time will tell.
  21. Last week Snyde and Keevins stated he was only a good English championship player. In the same breath as slabbering over Tierney as “the best full back in Scotland destined for the top pish” Tavernier reminds me of Gary Stevens but better He is the best full back of in the league by a long way.
  22. Could we see him and McCrorie playing together? I don’t think QPR will sell anyway?
  23. Yeh, I’m always telling Windass he is guff, I reckon he dosnt improve because he can’t hear me.......
  24. I’m with you on this dB! I would rather avoid any trips to the sheep, mhank dome or tynecastle too.
  25. Ha ha, love the GIF . That’s a fair point he did play today. A 6-1 victory suggests they all had a good game
