  1. I have just watched that tackle again BH. I'm not sure if this is a generational thing or not? However anywhere else in Europe that is at least a booking and perhaps a red. You simply can't go flying in to tackles, ball or not, like that in this day and age. To say it was a "great tackle" may be correct, however it is "dangerous and reckless" also. You can't do that in 2017. It dosnt matter what you "think" it should be, you can't tackle like that anymore. It's 100% dangerous and reckless (endangering the player, ball or not) stonewall yellow, perhaps a red.
  2. I take it your aware two footed and studs showing is an outlawed tackle BH? Maybe you should "reacquaint" yourself with the updated laws of the game? The tackle was a shocker.
  3. Bang on. Studs up, two footed, off the ground. The ball is immaterial, it's a straight red. Apart from against us it seems!
  4. I have noticed the media blackout on reporting the Lego muncher elbow and the horrendous two footed challenge. I also noticed that Beaton looked unnoved at these incidents and had already decided (imo) that no C****c player, especially lego muncher, was being sent off. The elbow on Miller was a straight red, no argument. The two footed "airborne assault" on Miller was a leg breaker, no argument. Beaton done nothing with the two of them. This has all been lost in the 1-5 doing we received.
  5. I was thinking about this earlier today Pete. I completely agree. I'm sure we are due a new sponsorship deal too next year as 32red is finished.
  6. Bastard is one of the nicer terms I have heard him being labelled with? He ran the club into the ground and handed it over to a shower of bandits. People say he gave us 9IAR well he also tore the the club apart, sat back and let it be violated and raped while he saved his own skin. I have never met the guy nor would I ever wish too. I would use far worse terms to describe him. I reckon you are being quite charitable there Ian!
  7. £20m? Majority of that team is still under contract. So unless there is someone daft enough to pay for them we are stuck with them next season too. We could pay them off but either way it's costly. Only ones we may get a decent fee for are McKay and Wes. Imo it will take much more than £20m to get us out the mess we are in. We need massive investment of at least £50m. Wages, Stadium and Auchenowie up keeping and money to fund transfer fees all need to be addressed. I don't have the answers rbr, I just don't see £20m being anywhere near enough. We are stuck in a rut. I have already paid my ST but thousands haven't and won't after what was witnessed today and the sobering truth hits them. I have to be honest and say I can't watch another match like I did today. The board we have can't fix it as they don't have the cash. We have been exploited as fans time after time. Today was the tipping point, certainly for me and I suspect for the majority.
  8. Wishful thinking by looks of it. I would take substantial investment off just about anyone too. As long as they had our best interests at heart. Jabba sure as heck does not fall into that category.
  9. I mentioned similar earlier limeburner. The Ashley rumour was all over Snyde today. Might be pish (hopefully) might not? Right now I don't know what's going on after today?
  10. Pity chinease money isn't coming our way? That's the rumour that is good around as you say BH. Possibly before the start of next season? I feel sick at the thought of Jabba and his gang of bandits getting their greasy hands on us. I hope it's a load of pish.
  11. This should be all over media demanding retrospective action? Yeeeeehhhhhhh......
  12. You seem to be perceiving I am suggesting there is truth in it? Clarifying for the last time, I'm not. I'm only posting what is being peddled in the rumour mill. That's what generally happens on forums.
  13. You could very well be right. Don't shoot the messenger ffs. Snyde and Mark Guidi in particular were peddling it today.
  14. There is also rumours that the fat man may be ready to do a deal with King? Buying his shares off him. The thought of this making me ill. Goodness knows what will happen if Jabba get his hands on us?
  15. The players (Miller apart) don't give a monkeys. Apart from that why were we playing a 4-3-3 from KO?? That came from PC. What's he thinking? You, me and everyone in this forum knew we should have played a 4-5-1 flooding the midfield. I'm aghast at what happened today. There is nothing constructive I can possibly fathom? Genuinely the worst performance I have ever witnessed in my 32 years going to Ibrox. In every department.
  16. As for getting a grip, anyone that wasn't embarrassed and sickened by the attitude and capitulation of the players (ok, Miller apart) should be having a look at themselves. We were just grubbed 1-5 at Ibrox. I believe that's our biggest defeat at Ibrox to them in our history. So no, I won't get a grip. Anyone that's not taking a flaky should have a word with themselves!
  17. Were you at the game today? Did you witness that in the flesh?
  18. That was the worst Rangers performance I have ever witnessed in every department. I stayed to the end however I am embarrassed and ashamed of my club. My heart sank when I seen the formation which was effectively a 4-3-3 from KO. Is PC the man for the job? Can any manager survive a 5-1 defeat from them at Ibrox? The manner of the defeat and the gutless, spineless performance was sickening to watch. They are an average side, however today they added disgrace, shame and cowardice to that list.
  19. Right, I'm off to the game. Let's get in about these mhanky bassas!!
  20. The Billy Boys is Spanish...That will fox em lol!! Anyone speak Italian instead???
  21. I'm at the window listen for "howls" in the distance. Accompanied by a large glowing "moon" appearing through clouds, in a dimly lit night sky..........
  22. Fantastic piece and very enjoyable 26th!
  23. Surely holidays and entitlements should be in their contracts? If their contracts state a certain amount of holidays pre season then Pedro has overstepped the mark. If, as I suspect, they don't state any fixed amount pre season then they should keep quiet and get on with trying to improve themselves and the club. This is a HR matter that should be covered by their contracts?
  24. He was a former sheep keeper who was signed by us (for any younger members). Since I have turned forty I sound like I am sixty ffs!!
  25. Snelders wouldn't play v mhanks for us and pulled out through nerves. He needed to carry "Primark boxers in bulk" with him!
