  1. I once took one of those from a full power toe basher direct hit on the side of the face on a wet day. That was decades ago but unsurprisingly I still haven't forgotten it.
  2. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/43214376
  3. While we could expect to drop more points given the patchy record this season the team appears to have been becoming more consistent and more impressive in recent weeks while the yahoos have been trending in the opposite direction. It is a tall order because any more dropped points at all if they didn't drop any at the same time would push it out of reach but stranger things have happened in football.
  4. Could be a goal rampage against them. They have the second worst goals against record in the Championship with only Brechin having conceded more and Brechin are bottom of the division with just 4 points from 25 matches. Perfect game to deploy the Morelos Cummings duo. We're going to be flying at them from all angles and they're going to be swamped.
  5. And note the part about 'one lucky cup win in 4 years'. They hadn't won a trophy in 20 years until he secured that for them and finished 8th in an SPL we weren't even in before he took over and that's what baffles me all the more. They're ranting as if they were in a purple patch before he took overwhile their only purple patch came over 30 years ago in a pre Bosman era they will never see again. I hope McInnes does leave them. See where that gets them.
  6. Most people get that but not them. This has been posted on their forum just minutes ago regarding McInnes. It's McInnes fault they are are third in Scotland which aside from a brief SAF episode is more or less what they have always been. See the suggestion that some un-named entity could take them further? I don't get it. I don't expect to win the Champions league because the contenders are operating at a different level. That's the sheep reality in the Scottish game they apparently can't see. Even in our weakened position we can spend more in a single window that they will in years of windows. Hell more on a single player than they will in years of windows and that's even without the bonus of Euro football.
  7. The sheep followers exist in an alternate reality where McInnes is the reason they're not winning titles and some other un-named manager would be sweeping all before them with that side they have. They don't grasp their level.
  8. Lustig red carded but the sheep are a woeful side who amount to little more than a somewhat better quality version of the typical SPL dig in and try to get something on the break brigade.
  9. Here’s hoping. If that happened what many were thinking unthinkable could become not just thinkable but eminently doable. I doubt our odds would remain anything like 66-1
  10. It’s an acceptable result with both hubz and hearts below us dropping points and either the yahoos or sheep going to drop points tomorrow or maybe even both if it’s a draw.
  11. When they beat the sheep I experienced an underlying feeling of dread. I can't remember another time this season prior to the recent Hamilton game when we took 3 points after a close rival dropped points. Then on the day Hamilton took an early lead. Though in saying that unlike many other such games I always got the feeling after the equaliser quickly came that we could score as many as would be needed regardless of what Hamilton did.

    The Split

If we were to take this seasons home form as a guide they should want to play us at Ibrox if that is it's points they are interested in. But since the majority are more interested in gate money they want us on their patch. The top 6 has already pretty much shaken out. Rangers, yahoos, sheep, probably hubz plus heartz and one guest yet to be decided. Looks like St Johnstone wont be there for the first time in some years because they allegedly only step up their game for certain matches.
  13. Think they sold more than Hearts this season due to the excitement of being promoted after several years in the championship.
  14. All things being equal hubz should be sitting 3rd not 4th. They have the third highest number of season ticket holders in the country so he is effectively managing one of the wealthiest teams. As far as i'm aware they have around twice as many season ticket holders as the sheep. And incidentally he got Bolton relegated to the 3rd tier for the first time in over 20 years.
  15. Hardly. Most popular names for new born baby boys in Scotland 2017. 1: Jack 2: Oliver 3: James 4: Lewis 5: Noah 6 :Logan 7: Harris 8: Alexander 9 :Leo 10 :Harry Everyone knows their dominance while we were gone is worthless as an achievement. No one but us or them has won the league in the last 33 years so it's hardly surprising they dominated it when we weren't in it. It would have been more of a surprise if they didn't.
  16. The period of no Rangers in the top flight enticed them into a fantasy land which is now now gradually being invaded by reality. As we all know 55 will come sooner or later and when it does and especially so if against all odds it happens this season they will quickly meltdown. There are apparently already rumblings among them that Rogers should be given the boot and replaced by Lennon of all people. They want to replace a proven EPL manager with one who got Bolton relegated to the third tier for the first time in over 20 years. Aside from being a quality coach Rogers is an intelligent man who is unlikely to step over any lines into a public relations disaster. Unlike the mindless yobbo they want to replace him with. Though in saying that his yobbishness is more in character with their support. People so stupid they want to oust a man who delivered them a record breaking unbeaten run, two acceptable by Scottish standards runs in Europe plus a treble with still the chance of another. Deep thinkers they are not but as already mentioned neither is the one they want to replace him with. Their kind of guy.
  17. Fair comment but at the same time you would imagine that all things being equal winning more at home would be an easier challenge to rectify than many other challenges we have faced. And as it stands we would be winning this league if not for that somewhat peculiar feature.
  18. I’m not condoning abuse of the players by our fans on social media but it does make you wonder if it can drive some. Obviously had some sort of effect on him and by that I don’t necessarily mean his current form. His reaction to it was revealing.
  19. Yeah it could be worse. You would imagine improving home form would be one of the easier challenges facing us.
  20. I was looking for Morelos to try to hit that one off the goalie.
  21. Reminds me of some Alex Ferguson United sides. They conceded with regularity but it didn't matter because they were scoring with even greater frequency.
  22. I feel he's going to attract more interest from England in the next window. The 500K PNE offered could prove to be a fraction of his true worth.
  23. Well that settles it. Perfect ball in from Morelos.
  24. I thought the Morelos goal was well taken and a deal more difficult than the 'tap in' Walker described it as. Took it fast, left footed, and put a fair amount of power into it.
