A bare minimum of a season and ideally up to a season and a half encompassing 2 summer windows. The alternative is eternally returning to square one which is where we would be right now if some were humoured. We would have a new manager looking to bring in a new team in as little as two two games far less two months.

It's exactly the same scenario with any new manager. How many times are we going to do this? New manager new team every season? Every 6 months? In my view we're just a couple of months into the Pedro reign as the tail end of last season wasn't his team. This now is his team. Is that how long we give a new manager to build and bed in a new team? One window and a couple of months? It's not enough.

Not exactly but he isn't being played enough to form an opinion. I have seen what Moult can do as have the sheep recently because he's playing week in week out and is still just 25 and coming into his prime.

I would like to see him paired with Moult who has only 9 months left on his Motherwell contract. I will hazard a guess that if he had any intentions of staying with them he would already have been signed on another contract because he's their goal machine as Morelos is ours. Motherwell would likely take 'something' for him in January rather than nothing next June.

I have a feeling his yellow cards may accumulate enough to give him an enforced rest and hopefully that's not when we have a key game coming up.

Moult has proven himself. He should be a January pre contract before a competitor gets in there. A front two of him and Morelos could be devastating.

Granted they have better quality in some positions but we gave a good account of ourselves and were robbed yet again regarding the penalty claim. It was a penalty. Look at the replay and you will see that Morelos touches the ball past him. The defender makes no contact with the ball and takes Morelos out denying him the chance to take advantage of his touch and he would have scored from that distance. If we had got the penalty all things being equal you have to think we would have taken the lead and that would have changed the entire dynamic. I still maintain we're comfortably better than anything else in that league outside them. A couple more windows should push us far ahead of the rest and closer to them. McCrorie is a find.
