  1. This is bizarre. A referee giving us decisions and protecting our players? I can understand perfectly why that would upset the sheep. Everybody else can kick the shit out of them at will why not us?
  2. I can believe that, but can't believe we're getting a decision at last.
  3. While I don't like them getting away with it another part of me draws some satisfaction from Motherwell getting a taste of such refereeing going against them rather than helping them as in the semi.
  4. Rangers 2 - sheep 0 FGS Morelos
  5. No exaggeration please, it's only 7-1
  6. I feel these breaks have been highly detrimental as we try to bed in a new team.
  7. Agreed, exactly why it's still the only time I have attended when they play Accies.
  8. Despite being from Hamilton I had never seen them play Rangers until one day in 1987 when Accies pulled off a famous Scottish cup win against the Rangers of Graeme Souness. That was the first and still only time I have seen them play Hamilton.
  9. Stokes appears to be able to do anything he wants to and get away with it. We all know what he did to Tavernier. The following from a recent match against Dundee. http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/competitions/premiership/neil-mccann-fumes-over-anthony-stokes-punch-in-the-balls-1-4605140 Hubz must absolutely love it whenever Beaton is officiating. Anything goes and if the opposition complain about being thrown to the ground or getting a punch in the balls they will get a booking.
  10. So Rangers with 40,000 plus season ticket holders and large retail sales of Jerseys etc. can't afford McInnes but the zero transfer budget sheep can afford to sign him on a 3 year deal. Interesting math.
  11. The nearer it gets to the sheep double header with no McInnes deal in view the more I suspect it wont be happening. How uncomfortable would it be to bring him following matches in which his sheep side may have taken vital points from us? That's not to say I think the sheep will beat us because what I actually think is that we only need to play to our capabilities and we can comfortably beat them. But the above scenario is just one reason i'm having doubts McInnes is even in the running now. Presuming he ever were.
  12. Hopefully it's one of our frequent high scoring days for your big occasion.
  13. Have to agree the signs have been far from encouraging but surely if he had some condition that can never be remedied it would have been identified by now. Let's hope he really is over it this time because he truly can bring another dimension to the side if he gets an extended injury free run.
  14. I have reached a stage of thinking if it were going to be Mcinnes it would already have happened. Since it hasn't I now suspect it wont.
  15. I saw us qualify for 5 consecutive world cups from 1974 to 1990 which puts me a shade over 20. That 5 consecutive qualifications was a record at the time I don't know if it still is.
  16. Judging from that clip they didn't expect to make it, what might we see if Scotland were ever to make it again. As for Italy they appear to be a side in need of rebuilding. Four of their players retired from international immediately after that game.
  17. You could say that about many of their bloggers.
  18. The Americans have stats for everything because their 'football' is so boring they need something to talk about due to the fact that most of the time absolutely nothing is happening. Some of them have tried to say to me that you should think of it as watching a chess game with humans instead of pieces. My reply to that is chess is boring to watch too.
  19. The 30-year-old has been a key player since his summer move from Norwich City, scoring five goals in 13 appearances so far. But according to the Sunday Mail, the ex-Scotland international is struggling to recover the troublesome blow and could be a doubt for the crucial double-header against Aberdeen. That would prove a major blow to caretaker boss Graeme Murty who is desperate to welcome the midfielder back into the fold. Gers first take on Derek McInnes’ Dons at Ibrox on Wednesday November 29 before travelling to Pittodrie days later on Sunday December 3. Should the Light Blues take maximum points, it could see them leapfrog Aberdeen – who remain unbeaten in the league so far this season. The powderkeg fixture will grab even more attention as McInnes’ future at Pittodrie remains unclear – with bookies making the former Gers midfielder red-hot favourite to replace sacked Pedro Caixinha at Rangers. Lee McCulloch became the latest ex-Rangers player to urge his former club to appoint McInnes, claiming that his knowledge of the club and his experience of playing at Ibrox should be an important part of the recruitment process. Meanwhile, McInnes was spotted with Rangers-mad GLOW star Brian Matthews at a charity bash in Glasgow last night. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/1829179/rangers-dorrans-injury-aberdeen/
  20. So if he needed any motivation to get stuck into them when they come to Ibrox now he has it. Aside from that their bleating will be well drowned out.
  21. The Championship is extremely competitive this year. Only 2 points separate the top 5 right now and they're going to be in an almighty battle to get out of there. If they don't get the automatic promotion slot I don't see them beating anybody from the SPL in the play offs presuming they even managed to make it to the final.
  22. Fully agree, no one from the club has ever said they can't afford McInnes only the moon howlers have said that. In fact no one has ever even said McInnes was in the running. Only the mhedia said that. And with reports of 150 applicants being bandied around if that were true it would take weeks just to sift through that examine their credentials then filter out the also rans to build a short list. As for a vote of no confidence in the board that's ridiculous. Who in the world would be ready and able to replace them? Keep that up and they may decide to give the ungrateful their desires by resigning en masse leaving it to whichever Whyte clone rolls up next. Though I believe them to be enough of Rangers men to stick it out rather than do that. As it stands I'm content some time is being taken over this to hopefully get it right by bringing in a man who will be at the helm for at least a few years rather than this constant revolving door management leaving us having to rebuild season upon season.
  23. Consecutive previous boards put us in the most dire situation in the clubs history. Whatever anyone may have to say about King I would argue it can't be disputed that he is a Rangers man with no agenda but to put the club back in it's rightful place at the top. Any potential fairy Godfathers would have shown face by now. But since they're conspicuous by their absence i'm happy to have a man who has effectively steadied the ship and is striving to refurbish it to the best of his abilities in trying circumstances. Some of the criticism of him is way over the top considering what he inherited from the bandits who preceded him. I'm more than confident he would happily step aside if a trustworthy Rangers minded man with the resources to take it further than he can appeared on the horizon. At this point King is without doubt worthy of notable mention in the history of the club.
  24. But strange isn't it. Throw a man to the ground Stokes style and just carry on. Give a man on the ground a boot to the head Broonie style and just carry on. Say some bad words and take a rest for 8 matches. I'm not suggesting that what he did should go unpunished but which actions are the most dangerous?
