BHEASTS - SPL Clubs Against The Establishment
Super_Ally replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Didn't even finish the first page but they terrorised him! -
Ooh er, they won't like this down Torbett Towers way...
Super_Ally replied to Norris Cole's topic in Rangers Chat
Been looking forward to it since Fraser mentioned the title, thought it must be a wind up at first, but no that's the genuine title. -
Glad I ticked the option to make the votes public!

My old flat mate (a sheepy) assured me it was not just Calderwood's repeated talking about Rangers (anyone actually remember this ) but his poor cup record getting knocked out by teams they should beat were the reasons they wanted rid. And now they've got Mark 'Celtic' McGhee having them pumped out by Raith. They'll be glad they got rid of the two jimmie's though, the hun bastards.

"I have a cunning plan" As I said, massive PR offensive from the hooped horrors.
-
That's an interesting wee stat, though as you point out he has not played solely at RB. Is the article worth a read? Don't wanna give hits to the tabloid press.

I've not been greedy and picked the double, but I think the treble is just as likely. St Mirren winning the League Cup would be a major shock. We must be huge favourites for the league and at worst we're probably joint favourites for the Scottish Cup. :spl:
-
No shitting bricks about jumpin the gun. Just a bit of fun. I think we'll certainly take the League and league cup double, the mhanks will be busting a gut to stop us also winning the Scottish Cup.
-
A decent article but I hate the way they also have to put a negative slant on it. He rightly points out we're the most accomplished attacking team too. So why focus on the "negative" of also being good defensively. It could be framed in a much better light.
-
There's a real PR offensive from the mhankies atm isn't there. Every day they questioning our bottle (while there's crashes), talking up each other and generally rattling their gums. As normal the Rangers get on with the important business of winning games and winning trophies.

Mogga- 'Diomansy Kamara is our answer to Wayne Rooney'
Super_Ally replied to bluedan's topic in General Football Chat
Kamara is a pretty decent player, at least he looked so down south, but that is a bizarre comparison. Nothing a like as players even if they both have a good work ethic. Shall we compare Thomson to Rooney then? -
The nature of football fans. Bein fickle, hypocrisy and any number of other bad characteristics are mandatory.
-
Excellent comments from Boyd, just defending himself and his team mates with honesty. Some good points above too.
-
Decent article OOA, seems Dawson sees much of it the same way as I do regarding Whittaker.
-
Ha ha. Absolutely hilarious Ian. They should be identifying these lunatics and sticking them all in padded cells.
-
Good decision.

For the first time ever I worried he might miss at the weekend. Then of course he didn't and I asked myself wtf was I worried about. Saw a comment from one fan saying they should save time and just award the goal. :spl:
-
Fair pint and I'd have to sit through a season of watching them to prove my point, which isn't going to happen.
-
Well now I'm confused, because MF's views would be more in line with that FF lunatic fringe, yet I thought he was an RM acolyte? :fish::box:

You don't win the most games, lose the least, score the most goals, concede the least and have the best goal difference by only being a stodgy defensive outfit. I imagine what causes this Hibs play the best football line, that we also got under Mowbray, is that most fans only see their highlights or best periods of play. They don't sit through a season of their football and watch their dross. They also benefit from a lack of expectation so any good performance is greeted more warmly and any defeat criticised less harshly. Furthermore they are not held back by a negative press agenda nor negative stereotype of their "traditional" teams. It was bullshit udner Mowbray, it's no doubt crap now or we wouldn't be scooshing all the offensive stats (that count).
-
It seems to me that every time Rangers are the best football team in the country (mind suicide attacking is only half the game) we get this hibee agenda. Is it ever mentioned when Celtic are on top, or do we just accept they play Bercelona-esque footy?
-
Referring to hibs. There's me thinking we beat them 3-0 at football at the weekend.

Maybe someone will know, but I haven't seen Sunderland since his move so don't know. If you were to browse a Sunderland forum you'll definitely find comment, however maybe someone here will be able to fill you in.

I think it's fair to say that people's opinions are going to be less forthright if they have to be more accountable for the actions. It seems fairly obvious to me that not everyone is going to the same online as they are offline as people even behave differently in different social groups.
