Brown takes offence when Kyle answers how far ahead of Celtic are the Queen's XI?

Who mocked that up?

Crunched him fairly twice in the space of 30 seconds early doors in the game. -
Enjoyed reading that, even if Redford is rigth in that it is somewhat abck-handed praise. Especially enjoyed this paragraph. Sums up us and the SPL season imo. :spl: That's why we're champions!

Ha ha. Wind up surely?

Always had my suspiscions. :fish: Not that I remember, but maybe another poster can find an earlier poll.

Someone bump the thread from last year. Beasley at Aberdeen start of last year. Goal wrongly ruled out for offside, what should have been a 2-1 win ended a draw and two dropped points.
-
Surely the idea is to pick the best player? The usual format is to announce a shortlist of 4 (even though the winner is known when the announcement is made I believe ) who have polled most votes. I don't think it's wrong to argue that we could comfortably fill those four slots and arguably should. Perhaps only Anthony Stokes might be deserving of breaking into the shortlist. I know it wont happen that way. But as I say, it should be the 4 best players on the shortlist for the POTY and if they happen to play for one club who will most likely win the league at a canter and league cup (and maybe the treble) then tough shit.
-
Didn't realise he'd missed as many as that tbh. I guess it's because he strolls through each and every game and is one of the few class acts in the league. I still think we could easily fill the shortlist ourselves and arguably should.
-
No doubt. And as Davis will likely win it (I don't see him as being so clearly ahead of Boogie and Boyd that others do btw) no one will bat an eyelid. But if a Tim does make it, the question should be asked on what basis? Not one of them has had a better season than Davis, Boyd, Bougherra, Weir, McCulloch, Shagger or Miller. Stokes I could understand, excellent goal return for a team outwith the Old Firm and he's not merely a goalscorer.
-
I will be majorly shocked if (as a minimum) the SPL trophy and League Cup are not at Ibrox. The only hurdle for the treble imo is the Scottish Cup and whether or not a "wee" team can knock us out or Celtic can get the better of us in a one off game. Yes, we still have to turn up and respect our opponents and the threat they possess to our aspirations. But I have every faith in Walter instilling the right attitude in the players. So, whilst the players must not get over confident, I see no reason why I cant. :spl:

Reading a thread elsewhere about this made me think. Davis, Bougherra, Boyd, Weir are all in with a shout. Stokes will no doubt make the list of contenders. They normally announce a shortlist of 4. Can't think of a single one of them who deserves it. Anyone I may have missed?

Lol. My point was they wont win all 11, and I suspect 6 wins (plus a couple of draws) would be enough, even losing a couple.

Keep the 10th & 11th of April free in your Diary...

You should be pretty happy already then. -
If Celtic were to win all their remaining games we need 8 to win the league apparently. With the likelihood they'll drop more points 6 wins for us is probably more like it. Winning the next 3 would be half way there then. :spl:

On the radio tonight Cameron said McGeady was "Forrest Gump with the ball at his feet".

Exactly, no point debating it when they ignore the decisions that don't fit their persecution complex. Yes we maybe got 1 or two decisions, but so did they.
-
I think it's done to stop the board being clogged with loads of "I agree" type posts. If that's all you're after click the thanks or groan buttons.
-
Good to see him back in national colours.

These sort of claims just look like sour grapes unless you objectively view incidents and include those which go in your favour. Fortune clearly fouled McGregor. There's videos and gifs that show this conclusively. And when we listed all the incidents Celtic were getting the other year we also looked at the one's we were getting to make it objective. And still they came out massively on top.

Ha ha. Donal MacIntyre! This gets better and better. With the £65k comment are we sure that was a tim and not a bear taking the piss?

 Been waiting on Ian to get the good stuff for us. Lunatics.
