  1. Never bought into this ridiculous theory. Not sure why it gets so much support.
  2. A couple of weeks then? :fish:
  3. Whilst we must guard against complacency, in the league race we're looking very strong: "We have lost only 5 of our last 66 league games. We have to lose 5 of our next 10 to lose the league". There are obviously other permutations of results in the league that could prove costly if we draw too many games.
  4. Yeh, I guess you are right.
  5. Friday for the Cup Final Preview?
  6. Couldn't resist when I saw the score this weekend.
  7. I thought you'd want rid, whatever. Assuming we retain the title, another season under The Tim-Skelper will do me. SPL trophy = CL football = Stronger finances. Nothing else matters for Rangers atm.
  8. But they don't come too near each other?
  9. Bino-baiting proving ineffective.
  10. Is there not a list of RSCs available online. Must be one near where you are I reckon.
  11. Doesn't say on the fixture list on the official site which is odd. According to this website it is BBC1 Scotland which you will get on either Sky or Virgin.
  12. So we're looking at just shy of £500k for winning the cup and £110,000 for the CIS. Plus obviously gates, t.v etc which is probably wiped out by costs and appearance fees, bonuses etc. Nigh on feck all?
  13. Thought most people had ignored that issue. Good to see that's not the case. Some info arround that would be comforting.
  14. WIll be good news for Tony Mowbray this summer.
  15. Thought as much but just had to check. The cup has been weird in that respect. No club has scored more than one in a single game against us, yet twice now we've conceded 3 in one match in the cup.
  16. Are you saying that the defence has been poor all season, or that is the worst it has been all season. As, if it is the former, I couldn't agree at all. Assume it is the latter, but it is a little ambiguous.
  17. Good piece imo. Only thing i'd take slight umbrage at is the comments on January. Yes we struggled with squad selection due to injury, suspension and the ACN. Yet we still achieved the best results of any team in the league that month, winning 3 of 5, drawing the other 2 (1 of which was at Parkhead). http://soccernet.espn.go.com/team/stats?id=257&cc=5739 Totti will be on to tell us this is boring though and that really we're shit.
  18. I'm suprised, was sure we'd get Hibs and Celtic a diddy team. Well assuming Hibs go through.
  19. We all know that we rely heavily on making the Champions League group stages for holding up our balance sheets. Does anyone know what winning each of the three domestic competitions is worth to us financially? What is the prize money on offer.
  20. Really pissed off that we don't seem to be able to win a cup tie at the first attempt. We play so many replays it almost seems like the jokes about us doing it on purpose to help service the debt might not be too wide of the mark. As many have said before though, the treble is still on and that is the important thing.
  21. Well I got the first bit right.
  22. Suprised to hear it is him alone. I was under the impression he did not have enough financial clout as an individual.
  23. "Gersnet's Frankie has a Tony Mowbray head"! :box:
  24. Nae luck Norris.
  25. Celtic broke their wage structure etc and went out on a huge limb with the attempt to creep back into the title race. It has not happened, in fact they are furthe behind. A gamble that has not paid off. If it was a typical run of the mill transfer at the start of the season, fair enough, i'd agree with you. But it wasn't. They put all their financial eggs in one basket and it has failed dramatically. It is the circumstances that make it a waste of money. He was bought with certain express aims and even in spite of his own good goal return, they have not been able to achieve these targets. I don't deny he is a good player or has scored a few goals. I am saying the transfer is a waste of money as it has not achieved what they desired. His signing has also, at last check, not made the (significant) difference with attendances that was hoped for/required.
