Just so long as it's not Gribz 3-5-2 sign me up. I don't agree Sasa is an attacking full back Shroomz, though he has made a definite effort to improve in this respect.

That was my initial thought too. Then I remembered that Benzema has reputedly said he would prefer to go to Manu (said maybe a year ago when he was linked with the sides). So perhaps Man U didn't match Real's bid as they knew he wouldn't pick them and it would look even worse if another player chose Real over Man U. Not sure about that though and probably go with what you suggest above. -
Bearing in mind Frankie's 4-3-3 thread. As he will never likely get a shot at CM, 4-3-3 might suit Charlie better. Though he'd still struggle for a regular game behind Mendes, Thommo, Edu and Davis.

What about other rich people?

I didn't mean reminscent in terms of being a carbon copy, I just meant it brought back memories of the 92/93 CL. Poor choice of words maybe but I thought people would get the point.

The [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILoeZCgrfSM]Nisbet goal[/ame] I referred too. The error I alluded to earlier was in suggesting this came in the European Masters Tourney. Not sure that was the case now. Seriously guys, get this watched. :spl:

I'd had that thought myself. Sorry Madjid.

It's a good laugh. I sometimes watch some of the English ones as long as there are plenty of players I recognise. Quick games. 8 mins each way I think. And usually plenty of goals. Plus there's usually a lot of NIAR boys playing. Hopefully get another trophy for the collection. :spl:

Scottish Masters - 00, 03, 04, 06, 08 British Masters - 06 (Losing Finalists 00, 03 ) European Masters Cup 2005. Looks like I was a bit out with some info in the OP. Decent wee record in this though. :spl:

Can't take anything for granted of course, but if we don't win those without him we need to ask some serious questions. All teams lose key players during the season to suspension, injury or perhaps fixture conflicts like the African Nations. We should be big enough and strong enough to deal with it. We're not scheduled to go to Pittodrie, Easter Road, Tannadice or Tynecastle nor do we play and Old Firm whilst Madjid is away. Wait and see what happend when the transfer window opens as we may bring in another decent CB who could partner Weir durin January.

Scottish Masters this weekend. Squad lists here. Mols to make his masters debut. Before the Mols story broke Durie was listed in our squad in the first link. The official site seem to think he's still playing but not listed on the Masters link. Durie has always been a quality performer in the masters, as has Walters. I watched it one season where we won the Scottish Masters, went on to the European masters and played Chelsea, Ajax and someone else. Van Vossen was romping it for Ajax. They beat us in the group, but we won the final. :spl: Nisbet scored a goal reminiscent of his iconic European goal in that tourney. Anyone else a fan?

That is the game he will be missing, all winnable without Boogie. The Hearts game might well be the toughest but I would like to think home advantage will prove telling.

If you spoke to some of the fans I have online that would keep them happy!

Male? Check. Therefore a pervert, surely?

Feeney? Dear God No!

Good, not just me then. Thought she's a cracking bird since I first saw her covering the football. Fair play to Kenny.

Anyone know why the big clear out at Falkirk with so many players getting released? They got financial problems in spite of maintaining SPL status and earning a crack at Europe?
-
I'm not sure either of those statements are correct. There have been suggestions that there isn't really a market to exploit in Asia unless you are Man U or Real Madrid. There is also little evidence Celtic have "cracked the Asian market". We've had nonsense stories from Ronnie Cully that signing Nakamura was worth "x" amount of millions to Celtic from the Asian market. In truth it will have helped sell Scottish tv rights there, perhaps, that all member clubs of the SPL benefitted from equally. Asides from Celtic employees and compliant media bumping their gums about their "success" in the Asian market, I have seen no real evidence they have made anything much at all from it. No numbers, no facts, no reliable sources. Yes, their tops are available for purchase abroad. That is not as a direct result of an aggressive marketing campaign by the hooped horrors but due to having Nike as their kit manaufacturer who get them into stores abroad with the likes of Man U and other big teams.

If it was Aberdeen they'd have another star on their jersey.

Rangers FC Agree to 'Setting the Standard' Debate
Super_Ally replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
What's with the new "drive by shooting" style of posting anyway? Looks like attention seeking to me. Appear from nowhere, write something disparaging and disappear over the horizon. Probably backslapping yourslef thinking you've stirred up a hornets nest. Would've thought you'd be too old for such childish games. Also adds credence to the numerous suggestions that you have nothing constructive to add.- 61 replies
