 Typical, i never took the bastards and they win comfortably. They've got some record in the league this year and don't seem to have credible challengers at the minute, Maybe Ajax excepted.

What did he do. Stuck at a Christening. Reception held in masonic lodge in lowestoft though.

@ Chick.

29 years old and always ran about like a headless chicken. Not likely to change now.

Considered taking AZ at the bookies today. In only 4 league games (I think, might be 5) have AZ not taken full points! So even a draw would be a cracking result for the home side. Will be interested to hear how it goes. Would also be good to go to a German game, especially woth Hoffenheim going so well (recent weeks apart).

It may be difficult to answer conclusively, but does that merely highlight the importance of winning the league and CL football or is there more to it than that?
-
I guess you are right, but it will be interesting to see how they cope on a level playing field in terms of fixture congestion, if not officiating.
-
Said it a million times. Poor man's Nacho Novo and in that respect a criminal waste of our meagre transfer funds. Bite their hand soff for £2mil.

Looks worryingly like stron figures again. Or will BD or one of the other who understand finances better tell me different?
-
It's not an advantage in the sense that we play the same number of games. However in 3 of the next 4 fixtures we play first and can keep putting pressure on them to win that wasn't there when we trailed by 7 points. We've never really found out how Strachan's Celtic cope with pressure at the business end of the season. Hopefully that will change this year.

 It is perhaps not the biggest issue, but symtomatic of all that is wrong with the one sided coverage of Scottish football.
-
That's good to hear, hopefully it's not hollow words.

My email: I'm sure there's been some more eloquently phrased querries.
-
Didn't even read the reviews. Just saw the titles. I had emailed them too, but thanks to MF for posting the address for everyone else. Truly, truly pathetic.
-
It sure is 26th.
-
I know it maybe seems a bit pathetic on my part. Particularly in this current tit for tat climate, their are bigger priorities. But seriously how truly sad and pathetic are their fans. Where does helicopter Thursday even fit with their title. They were always in charge, no change of direction, no classic line of commentary. It is embarrassing for them. I actually emailed the website to ask if they would correct their website. Is there anything they wont try and steal.
-
While looking for statistics on the SPL website I came across this. WTF is Helicopter Thursday? We coin the phrase helicopter Sunday for Eck's last day title win where the helicopter changed direction. There was no change of direction in the helicopter last season. Unfortunately thanks to the SPL they were in the driving seat on the final day but didn't bottle it. WHy gloss over the real "helicopter" title win but then steal the phrase for their own where it doesn't fit??? Merely says McDonal double seals final twist. Pathetic bunch.

He was fortunate it was such a dull, incident free Old Firm. Imagine it had been a contentious game with more big incidents. The number of errors he amde in such an easy game to referee is worrying for his future performances, especially seeing as he is highly rated.
-
Agree with Gavin here.
-
Or does the lacklustre performance by both teams, a relatively incident free game and a boring drab 0-0 result reflect the lack of activity on here today.
-
Beat Motherwell away 4-3 aet in the cup. Supposedly 2-0 up at HT, Hutton and Wilson scored. Don't know anything else yet.
-
I'm not necessarily agreeing with the fans making this argument, though I can see there point. Keeps us in touch with an easier run in, in theory, and the remaining game between the sides being a home tie for us. In addition to what is posted above, on 3 of those 4 weekends we play before them so can put pressure on them if we win.
-
Many seem to be arguing that a draw is a better result for us than them. We appear to have the easier run in with the remaining Old Firm at Ibrox. Each teams upcoming fixtures are: We have.. Killie (h) Hamilton (a) Inverness (h) Hearts (h) They have.. Motherwell (a) St Mirren (h) Killie (a) Dundee Unt (a) Hopefully we can take maximum points and they suffer a couple of defeats or draws. We could go back top before long.

I've lost my "touch". Had a mare, had leicester, Barca, Chelsea and a couple others i've forgotten. Didn't really keep up with the scores once Leicester had done me.

Always good to see a tribute to a legend of the game.
