Best "wee" Gers forum online mate. Scratch that, best forum online. Hello, hello and get posting!

40:60 We're still in it. Bit they have the advantage. Home advantage hasn't counted for much in the OF.
-
Exerting my influence already and I'm not even trying. He's not giving even his most ardent fans much to defend him with in recent weeks. Still think he takes undue criticism though. The lack of goalscoring ability of any other player in the squad means that as soon as he goes quiet we don't have any options. Take him out the team and due you fancy his replacement to do the business.
-
Well at least Berra's away. Terrorised Weir and Boogie in the game we lost to them earlier in the season. More comfortable with Kirk playing when Boogie is his partner. Didn;t work out well when Kirk replaced Madjid for the OF.

Unfortunately I agree Ian.

Setting The Standards - Getting Left Behind More Like
Super_Ally replied to CammyF's topic in Rangers Chat
More good news after last night. Still it is important to keep abreast of what our rivals in the league are doing. And asking why we aren't making similar moves at least. -
McDonal put tims ahead. Killie getting murdered, Invincible got one back from a corner. Miller goal ruled out for offside. Correct call apparently.

Scouting a player from a minor portuguese side, aged just 21. Surely just means an employee has been holidaying in the algarve recently?
-
I had it explained before but never really understood 0.0, +0.5 and +0.5 pay out at different odds but look like essentially the same bet to me. Did't take it in the end anyway. Kind of fancied Fulham home to Hull, but not confident enought to put it on with the rest of the teams. Odds became shitty and couldn't see a "draw no bet" option so left it off.
-
Fair point when written put like that I guess.
-
Exactly. Too much is made of goal difference because of our win under Eck. Unlikely to be repeated any time soon.
-
Said the same in a thread the other week where I asked if people would take him for another year. Would keep him on but preferably as back upto Boogie and a new signing.
-
Doesn't stop you following Rangers though!
-
Crewe did me out of approx £50. Had a Chelsea, Liverpool double on though, so not all bad for once.

That's a kick in the stones mate. Remind me about the asian handicaps again. If I pick a team 0.0, +0.5 or +0.5 Would either bet pay out if said team drew?

Anyone know how serious the Spanish take their cup? Will Barca play their strongest team tomorrow?

Shame Beasley couldn't get a game to impress!
-
Despite the fact Boyd had played most games. Iwelumo hadn't played in about 3 weeks. Add to that the fact he was playing the likes of Robson and Hartley and you see it was bs.
-
Agree with Frankie, Norris. I'm not denying he has had good performances Cammy. I just haven;t seen one in a long time and am not suprised he is not getting a regular shot from the little he has demonstrated this season.

Papac wasn't considered a LB when we signed him. Yet he's better than in his natural position. Same for Broadfoot on the right. I don't think we should keep Beasley and play him on the left just because that's his natural position and this worry of playing players "out of position". If Fleck, Aaron (who we have for another year with an option to buy) and Naismith (I disagree with your assessment, if you want to talk about an attacking player on the left he looks far more positive than Beasley) all look better out there than him, then what does that say about Beasley? Players out of position do his job better than him! He's about 5th choice at the minute. Hardly a glowing recommendation (sp). You are right, in this time of financial prudence, continuing to pay a player who is behind 3 or 4 strikers for his own position in the team does not make sense. If he can't even get a game ahead of players out of position then what use is he. In this instance I don't blame Smith, (well I do for signing him). If Beasley is so poor in his own position players are getting played out of position in front of him we are better getting rid. And for a supposedly attacking player he isn't half negative. Rarely attacks his fullback. We're crying out for pace and width and Beasley, whilst having the attributes, does not produce that on the field. In short his performances are quite cowardly as he time and again refuses to take responsibility and run at his man.
-
Fleck can play there comfortably and Naismith and Aaron have looked more impressive in their cameo roles. Beasley is not so attacking. He is negative when he gets the ball, does not utilise his pace, does not attack his man and merely passes the ball back to Papac. In any case, any fee received for him could be used to bring in a replacement. The truth is, a few decent game (like Lyon away) aside, he just has not performed.

Craig Levein - hypocritical moaning git
Super_Ally replied to ascender's topic in General Football Chat
Smith's just like a senior politician. Never saying anything to shock or offend the media or rile opposition teams. Unfortunately this serves the role of riling the fans of the very team he manages. -
Not impressed with him at all. Hopefully we can at least get back the fee we paid for him.

Who had the other 2%?
