    It's only a potential 2 extra games. It's not like a long euro run and playing 2-3 times a week. Winning breeds confidence and more winning. Bring on the treble.

    AGreed. If it had occurred further up the park, yellow fair do's with Caldwell covering, but had Dargo not been fouled he'd have got a shot away before Caldwell got near him. Clear goalscoring opportunity for me. Mind you did Boruc not get away with a Schumacher-esque attack at St Mirren earlier this season.

    Nothing to do with being obsessed with your rivals or ignoring your own teams failings, but half the fun of being a football fan is revelling in your enemies misfortune. I like the sentiments MF. And Ian and the others for that matter. :devil:

    I don't think it's all that bad most the time (in terms of negativity). And obviously after yesterday there is going to be a lot of critical posts. We wouldn't be the club we are if people were to meekly accept that.

    That's not what I meant. It is like a form of social conformity though. Extreme negativity when Rangers are not on top is what is expected so many people exagerate our plight to fit in with the common consensus. I don't even think it's done consciously. It's just a subconscious phenomenon of fitting in. Obviously there are things that are and have been done badly. But what Calscot has said, and what I agree with, is that you don't have to be 100% negative or positive. You can see and discuss the bad things as well as the good. No offence meant or any insinuations of anyone being a crank.

    How does them getting papped out the cup fit with Hartson's assertion that they are miles ahead atm. Stupid of him to use just the last fixture to assess the teams current form, performance and overall ability. Wednesday night, if they were as good as he claims (aye right) looks like the blip rather than the norm. Celtic's current form is terrible.

    Pete, you been making up your own phrases here? :devil: What does that mean in any case, new one to me. I do agree with Calscot to a large extent. Things are not all rosy at the minute. But sometimes I find we get fans speaking together,starting negative conversations and darkening each others mood. Then the opinions continue to spiral down into negativity. Not all of it justified. Sometimes you need the odd positive post to keep the criticism realistic and reflective of what's actually going on. Instead of having a number of fans having a mutual back slapping exercise at how right they are that they've predicted the apocalypse.

    Anyone care to answer this? When he's not scoring and playing like he is currently he's a waste. But I think some times people forget, he's still our best bet. Says it all really right now.
