Ascender one point in your arguement i'd like to pick up on. In your final paragraph you state criticism he gets is OTT. When you consider he cost £400k and scores nearly a goal a game and yet gets more criticism than any other player. That for me is indefensible.

Fuck me, 2-1 early doors in the Newcastle game. What's going on at Birmingham as well? Ok Burnely are doing well in the cups but thought they'd fallen away in recent months in the league? Edit: Don't you hate it when teams you thought about betting on get off to a good start? Brechin 1up on Stranraer early on.

Didn't notice that. Just know they've been good to the gamblers recently. Good luck Beattie, i'm due some too.

Leicester? About 4/6. Tough home game against Oldham (1st v about 6th I think). Leicester are on an excellent run, though think they have had to come from behind in a few games recently. Might be due dropping points right enough, so could be a bit of a risk.

CHeers for that Ian. Any Gersnetters in the clip?

Well that clears that up then?

I'll do it unless someone has put themselves forward. Don't wanna steal anyone's thunder or be 1 of 3 authors.

It's good a few of the tims are getting a slap, even funnier when it's from one of their own. Only question. When Boruc has finished knocking all his team mates about, who get the honour of doing the holy goalie?

I was just stirring as plenty gets posted on there as gospel without any numbers to back it up.

I'd be suprised if that is the case. He scores a large percentage of our goals and a few more are added by others whilst he's on the field. I just don't see it. Is this an FF fact where something is stated once with no basis and everyone repeats it as being true?

What I want to know is why that arguement is used purely against Boyd, Craig? Who in the present squad has won a league title? Barry, Novo, McGregor are a few. How many have not? Does that mean we should get shot of all these players? Or does it merely suggest that despite the positive contributions of these players, they have not been sufficiently complimented by other players/employees to result in a league title. Rather than getting rid of or blaming players who are making positive contributions to a title challenge, we should look at replacing those who do not.

There's 3 things in my life that will be constant and will not change. My family, my country and my football team. Whilst my approach to supporting my club may in some ways be detrimental, I do not have the strength of will not to go to games (albeit more difficult for me at the minute), not to buy the shirts and the merchandise, not to support the club in every way I can. Whilst the club needs the sort of revolution that perhaps the ****s had, I find it difficult to envisage a scenario where I will not give unconditional support to the club I love. It is a large part of who I am, what makes me... me. As many have stated when one business treats you like shit, you buy from their competitior. Truth is, for most businesses, the actions of one individual mean fuck all. In any case, I digress. The point is, for myself and many others, there is no choice, there is no competitor, or at least I will not consider one. It's Rangers unconditionally. I may not agree with the man who currently runs my club. But unlike this man, I am a true football fan, a true Rangers fan, in every sense of the word. Rangers is not a business, it's not even just a football club. It's an enormous family, it's an institution. Rangers is my passion, my life (). I will not go and support Partick Thistle because I cannot reconcile my differences with the man who runs the club. I would not turn my back on them if by some bizarre happenstance we were plying our trade in the lowest league in Scotland. We all know those famous words: Unfortunately it is a sad acceptance that whilst those who do not share our passion for the club are in the position to bring such years of failure. However such is the one sided nature of the true support of your football team that you abide these difficult times with unyielding support. Some will reach breaking point. Some will campaign for change. Some will make the difficult decisions. Will not by the shirts, will not purchase the merchandise, most importantly will not pay the season tickets prices. For that they must be applauded. It can be argued their support and love of the club is arguably greater than mine and greater than those like me. I however feel resigned to blindly follow following, no matter the circumstances. It is a feeling, an attachment I feel I could never adequately elucidate. (Perhaps I need to grow up and see what is truly important in life. I know myself well enough to know that will never be the case.)

Clearly not been paying attention to that. Cheers mate.

Only just found out it's on Sky sports 2. Was worried about trying to find one of those links Frankie has warned us about.

Perhaps not my place to say, but i'd chop the last few pages of this thread. Not the kind of nonsense I come on Gersnet to read. No disrespect to MF or Bobby G intended.

Don't think questioning his attitude is fair at the moment. He's had more good games than bad in recent months. If any other player had a good Nov/Dec/Jan then had a poor game, we wouldn't question their attitude, we'd just say they had a bad game and if they have too many close together their place in the team would be in question. Miller has been rank for a couple of months and in some games has noticeably done less work than Boyd, yet no one questions his attitude.

He seems fond of Coisty.

QUite agree with the last time. Man U's annual post xmas juggernaut had seen them whittle down Liverpool's lead and overtake them. WIth them losing key players I just see them falling farther behind.
-
How much have you staked on that?
-
The reason I was asking was because I wasn't quite sure of the logistics. Perhaps your suggestion is simplistic. I don't know. But is there any reason it needs to be complicated?
-
Just a sky opinion peice I believe.

The Scout reports...

Who is the other MF?
-
I don't think he's our best option. But we all know what Smith is going to do on the 13th. I'm merely trying to convince myself as much as you that it isn't a disaster waiting to happen.

Agreed but I think we can all agree it is inevitable we will be utilising one at Parkhead so the discussion is pertinent. Whilst Edu was quite impressive going forward, the role of the man occupying this position will be to screen his back four and disrupt Celtic play and possession. Something McCulloch would arguably be better at, based on his brief performances in the role. :box:
