  1. Wages are irrelevant to fans in the grand scheme of things. That's no far off of Tavs wages, and he can't score against diddy clubs keepers from 12 yards.
  2. You can't succession plan in football, unless it's from within.
  3. And find someone who'd be willing to take the job, move to a backwater and win everything on a shoestring budget. Form an orderly queue.
  4. There's a complete denial amongst some of our fans regards our financial position versus theirs, the gap is way, way bigger than it was even in their biscuit tin days. And the avenues open to us to close that gap are disappearing. 55 masked it for a bit, due to us having a brilliant season, and them having an absolute retard as a manager. I loved Boyd as a player, but I avoid listening to him as a pundit, he's a roaster.
  5. To be fair Cammy, 99% of your chat on here is angry auld man type posts, so you'll forgive me for missing you dropping your guard, albeit momentarily. 🙂
  6. And with FFP (or whatever they call it now) even if someone was daft enough, it can't really happen, unless you start doing all the creative accounting that the likes of Chelski do.
  7. Means fuck all, we beat Real not so long ago.
  8. Just seen Scotty Arf has a hattrick today, his second Falkirk debut. Delighted for him.
  9. Fantastically well written sir.
  10. Big Jorg, absolutely unplayable on his day.
  11. The kind of signing we need, young, hungry, wants to be here and great stats. Everyone focuses on certain strikers goal numbers, but we badly need goals from the midfield IMHO. He averages a goal every 4 games, we should be able to give him the platform to improve on those already impressive numbers.
  12. Very good young signing, delighted with that.
  13. Between Nsiala's recent showings, Souttar returning, and Propper getting better, I'm a lot more comfortable about our central defence now. Not seen Fernandes yet, so can't comment.
  14. Coincidental that we're seeing an improvement in Dessers when he has a striker playing with him?.
  15. Interesting, hopefully a highway of North African talent to follow!.
  16. I'm no hater of Dessers, his stats speak for themselves, If we'd had a window into his numbers before we signed him, we'd have been happy to go on and sign him for sure. However, his link up play isn't good enough for me, and he needs to use his size and strength a bit more (to be fair he's improved on that a little recently). If he can improve those facets of his game, then good on him. A bit of snarl against the rheptiles wouldn't go amiss.
  17. Absolutely, he's brilliant to watch. Another huge asset he has is that he doesn't seem to get wound up or involved in any shite, just plays his game and gets on with it.
  18. As an aside, loved Diomandes celebration today, pure unbridled joy, mixed with get it up ye.
  19. That statement was aired on radio after the game, so not made up.
  20. Superb result, I'll be honest in saying I thought we'd struggle today. Big game midweek, no shortage of injuries, a team that are very robust and get in your face. Well done Rangers, that's a big result.
  21. Aye, I think they're getting a better*, younger player as a straight swap, so not a bad deal. *If he manages to get back to player he was. Anyway, that's enough talk of the pot lickers.
