  1. With respect you'll appreciate the coincidence is not one which can be automatically dismissed. However, I appreciate your contribution and we'll see where the debate takes us over the next few days which look to be crucial for everyone concerned.
  2. Good points mate...
  3. It is interesting that all these anonymous blogs have cropped up suddenly. Someone or some group of people are up to something.
  4. Nobody can be excited until we know what Whyte's plans are. Until then any joy or confidence is unfounded.
  5. As ever mate - a fantastic riposte!
  6. So in other words Mowbray did have to write off a lot of money because he had to resign from his contract...? Bizarre that Celtic were still paying a manager they had effectively sacked.
  7. John's comments: http://news.scotsman.com/news/Sheriff-right-to-dismiss-case.6742770.jp
  8. http://www.heraldscotland.com/comment/herald-letters/so-is-it-now-policy-to-ignore-sectarian-and-racist-abuse-1.1093411 You have to register for that page so the comments are below: Well said Margaret - boo to James McMillan!
  9. I think this is a good move. The lads in both groups try very hard to improve the match-day atmosphere but I know first hand how difficult it is to get the surrounding areas of the stadium involved. UB moving in beside TBO should help logistically and hopefully we can have a few more people joining this area for next season during a time where season ticket numbers are declining. I'm sure the club will be eager to help...
  10. A couple of good responses on the letters page today while John Macmillan also replies to the statement in the Scotsman. Well done the Association!
  11. Good man mb - we have a voice; let's use it!
  12. BTW, that isn't orange juice she's drinking but brake fluid. Tasty!
  13. I think Leggat is guessing just like the rest of us unfortunately. Occam's razor is probably the best position to adopt for us at the moment.
  14. PS: My ferret (also called Frankie) passed away a few months back so half of my act has gone to that hob-hole in the sky...
  15. Unfortunately, the fact most working men's clubs patrons are usually found smoking outwith the premises, means I tend to perform outside such establishments nowadays... Just stick a few coins in my flat cap and I may sing a song as well...
  16. I suggest you email that fine contribution as well 26th...
  17. Indeed - these rulings do seem extremely bizarre but when the courts use clearly partial experts for their knowledge what else do you expect? You have to admire our opponents for their indefatigability.
  18. I've taken the liberty of sending the following reply to The Herald for them to publish but I won't hold my breath:
  19. Professor Tom Devine comments in today's Herald Letters page: http://www.heraldscotland.com/mobile/comment/herald-letters/why-the-fans-who-sing-songs-of-hate-are-committing-an-offence-1.1093147
  20. I'm not a betting man... Seriously I think too much as occurred recently for it not to happen but I wouldn't place much credence in deadlines. All we're seeing in the media is haggling from each party. In many ways it makes more sense for Whyte to step back if he can't agree a cheaper deal now as when the club inevitably downsize further and success becomes harder to find, the price will fall naturally then. The more serious issue for me is that we still don't know who Whyte is and if his plans will improve upon the status quo.
  21. Hoping to have more news on the proposed takeover today. Keep an eye on our Twitter and the forum for any new information. Sky and the BBC obviously do.
  22. Certainly positive that our voice is being heard. The bank were unequivocal in their denials yesterday so the buck now lies with Whyte and MIH which, IMO, it always has done.
  23. Apparently bank are now denying there is any 'exit' clause. Over to MIH and Whyte now. The end is in sight.
  24. The MS Essentials one is very good.
  25. I'm sure George Peat will be interested to know an official Celtic fan representative is calling him a bigot even if it is crazy Joe...
