Nope, no surprise whatsoever...

Yeah, I'm just taking it for granted right now as money in the bank so to speak... A couple of wins against Stuttgart and Seville would add another £1million!
-
Not sure but I doubt it would have been before 30th June...
-
Remember these figures from from June 2008 until June 30th, 2009; so this year's CL run and associated monies are not included. As such, 'current' figure could be closer to £20-25million...

Sounds not too dissimilar to what the bunnet did at Celtic. -

The one interesting thing for me is that Simon Bain is a finance reporter for The Herald which perhaps lends a bit more weight to his claims. Wonder who the billionaire is...? -

Why would Edmiston House be important given the club don't own it anymore? Is the new owner considering some sort of investment in the land there? I wouldn't mind any new owner selling MP as long as a new version was built off part of the proceeds... -

Interesting but the article author seems to contradict himself with the last sentence... -
Now on the main site with funky CammyF graphic... http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/2010/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=149 Remember we're always looking for articles and writers for the main site folks. The existing standard is pretty good (even if I say so myself) so if you think you'd like to add your name to the site and get your own funky graphic (as well as entry to our private writers' forum), please give me a shout!

Excellent - great to see the CammyF rant back! Will also upload this to the main site tomorrow!

PS: I'll put this online tomorrow...

Good article mate of which most I largely agree with... The McCoist issue is an interesting one. I do think he spoke out too early and there does seem to be a culture at the club of condemn first; find out facts later. At the same time though, would we rather we denied there were some idiots obviously involved in the Manchester and Bucharest incidents? That would only make us look worse IMO. However, I do think we could box a bit clever on the media/PR issue as a whole to ensure the club and supporters are defended first and foremost.

1. Financial figures for year end June 30th 2009: ~£30million debt expected 2. UEFA punishment: £40K fine rumoured. 3. EPL2 meeting: Two-tier proposals featuring Old Firm to be discussed. Should be an interesting day. I know Bluedell is sharpening his article pencil as we speak...

Ends pretty well IMO mate... Getting a nice headline and closing comment is always the hardest part about writing stuff for the wires. Good fun all the same! Thanks for your efforts!

Of course - just highlighting the fact that politics is an essential (though perhaps murky) part of making this work actually.

The guy is at the lash - couldn't play against Celtic because of a cold. While his contribution on the park is a good one, there are increasing doubts about his commitment overall. Is he worth keeping or should we take the £5million or so on offer and run?

I think it is inevitable that this will happen anyway given we would have to elect people based on manifestos every few years... Gersnet backs AN Other, FF backs Joe Bloggs, Rangers Media backs Someone Else - then onto the fan groups, RSCs and so forth. Not sure how we can avoid that....
