  1. He barged Alfie twice before Alfie responded if I’m not mistaken?
  2. The CO is judging what’s put in front of her. The issue is how does it get there in the first place and it is shocking that no one in authority including Rangers are asking that question. I can’t help thinking I’ve missed out on this important clarification whilst out of the country.
  3. 52 citings in a 12 team league. Average by club would be 4.3. Rangers more than double the average. Celtic have none.
  4. Disappointing game and always want to see us win but nothing guaranteed on that pitch against a half decent, organised outfit. Absolute banana skin potential. Happy to take it back to Ibrox in the end, especially as the game closed out. Killie could take something off the scum at home. If Scottish football was serious about improving they’d ban these pitches.
  5. Simple but effective. Perhaps with a neutral advisor. And has to be all games not just Rangers against whoever.
  6. Law 12. Attempting to deceive the referee is the rule with respect to simulation. Burke is guilty.
  7. That’s the point. I get why McGregor can be seen as a red what I can’t get is who cites and what is their role in the administration of Scottish football. The SFA are not willing to clarify this. Why?
  8. Brophy studding Jack raking his Achilles. How is the citing in that going? Arguably the worst tackle in the premiership this season.
  9. Genuinely shocked by this. Suggest folk look up the definition of unpalatable. It’s disgusting stuff from the national broadcaster. Let’s get this straight McKenna lost the plot after being bullied by a guy half his size who lashed out like a coward at Morelos and tried to stud him in the face. Lets also get it straight that McKenna started the argy bargy in the first game. Morelos has not committed one bad foul in this league. He is constantly battered by thugs on the park. If he was a white Scotsman playing against foreigners the media and BBC would love him. Sickening stuff - unpalatable describes the BBC better than it does Morelos.
  10. McKenna has no balls. He didn’t seem to feel the boot in the testicles. In the pub I was convinced red card. Not so sure now. Either way not crime if the century.
  11. I think Spiers is actually correct on the 29th Dec assumption. Heard from someone far better placed than he is. No idea what stopped it or where current impasse is but interesting the vitriol from BBC has gone up a notch or two since 29th re Morelosgate and now Dallassgate. Perhaps BBC flexing their muscles is a negotiating strategy or an ‘up you’ response. Classless and clueless biased organisation clearly trying to intimidate and influence the referees, the SFA and the CO - in other words conspiring to influence the outcome of Scottish football matches.
  12. So that’s possibly covering our contribution to Defoe. Good outcome if so.
  13. SG obviously prepared for question. Good response. Say nothing which might prejudice an agreement which may have been made in Rangers favour and related to off field stuff. Didn’t get drawn in to saying he was binned for football reasons.
  14. Michael Stewart is actually one of the most disliked personalities within football and was always regarded as arrogant, obnoxious and opinionated. There are folk in the BBC who dislike him. I’ve no general issues with shock jocks which is all he has become, but when he is unable to apply a knowledge of the rules, unable to see what actually happened as opposed to what he wants to see because of a predetermined narrative and unable to talk logically and be consistent, then he is nothing more than the typical thick loudmouth in a bar who has no self awareness and that’s not the qualities of a decent shock jock and furthermore if you have a loud mouth with one point of view and who is agenda driven as he is, then counteract it and challenge whereas Macintyre and his chums are too weak/scared to challenge him. In his defence when he talks football tactics he is quite instructive imo but those lapses are becoming rarer.
  15. The handball continued into the box. Replay it and freeze frame.
  16. The paranoia of Conroy was noticeable. He stated refs are not biased in his opinion but also argued ww should know which teams refs support and highlighting at prompt from macintyre that there were more Rangers supporters than Celtic supporters. They are doing what they can on this show to influence referees and create a bias against us. Of course Sportsound and it’s pundits don’t appear to be remotely accountable because they keep getting the gig despite talking guff. I mean Stewart was implying you can rugby tackle a player starting outside the box and if there is minimal but continuous follow on contact in the box it’s not a penalty, or the other logical extension on the handball of his argument is you could catch a garryowen (shout for mark whilst you’re at it) then stumble backwards into the box and lose control of the ball but still maintain contact with the hand and it wouldn’t be a penalty. If they (BBC) weren’t deliberately trying to influence the outcomes in this league it would be laughable. Try commenting in the sh1t defending and why Scotland is ranked probably along with Rwanda or Greenland in world football.
  17. The attack on Dallas was led by Steve Conroy the self confessed Celtic fan. It was brutal stuff and Stewart was ridiculous and illogical in his support. Slating the decisions based on his (wrong) interpretation of the evidence and rules and damning the standard of officiating whilst at the same time stating that the ref should have held back from awarding further penalties after the second for no other reason than he had awarded enough (my interpretation of his thinking). He stated Candeias was barely touched as he fell in the box , ignoring that he was manhandled all the way into the box and the real stupidity was the defender’s. The handball was apparently accidental - in other words you can intentionally handle the ball outside the area but if it then accidentally falls onto your hands whilst you are in the area as a result of the same intentional original handball then it’s not a penalty. That is as pretty far fetched and bizarre attempt to declare Rangers guilty of an opposing defenders cheating that you will ever come across - unless you listen to Michael Stewart regularly that is. Steve Conroy the celtic fan stated most refs were Rangers fans and the BBC broadcast this with no supporting evidence. It was mind boggling stuff. Never heard so much c*ap on that show before which is saying something. One real big question is not refs but why we spend taxpayers money on expert pundits who are not experts and are becoming more bizarre by the day and who are frankly as bad at their jobs as the refs they slate and the defenders who can’t defend. There is no way we should ever let the BBC back into Ibrox.
  18. 2nd dodgy the rest were pens and we actually had a fifth denied when Morelos was manhandled and wrested to the ground.
  19. Should be a 6k invoice in the post but the CO has already got her man.
  20. Very rarely bother with the Tims but I’ve got IPTV and they quoted 58000 for the Hamilton game. Hard to tell but id guess 35-40k tops. Incidentally they were unimpressive. 2 goalie errors and Hamilton should have scored at least one. They are very beatable this year if we can put a run together.
  21. Not convinced he is EPL yet but definitely top few clubs in championship would be his level right now. I think he will be EPL so sell on clause vital. He could be a 40m player in a couple of years if he develops. Anything north of 15m will be hard for the board to resist but I’d be looking for sell on of 10%. He’s a better prospect than dembele.
  22. Morelos is petulant. How many bad fouls has he actually committed? We have had players hospitalised without a peep from the Beeb. Michael Stewart is the rabble rouser in chief. You have to ask why he doesn’t give attention to non Rangers Scots and the dregs of thuggery from clubs like Motherwell. Perhaps they are good ole boys?
  23. Alfredo Morelos will need more security from Rangers. The coordinated witch-hunt from the Scottish media and Celtic fc is making this a dangerous situation. Not just for Beaton but for our player. They media have gone way beyond impartial commentating and folk like Sutton and Stewart have focussed on Morelos to the point of obsession. They have simply ignored offences or red cards that have been against Rangers or fouls perpetrated by Scott Brown and others and have worked Celtic supporters into a fervour. Part of the problem in this latest example and what are now death threats against a referee has been the torch burning mob led by the media and expectations of a lynching by the CO. If there was no CO this would have blown over - the role needs binned. No one understands it, it’s not clear how/when/why citings are made and who decides what is reviewed and it’s loaded against teams who are on the telly most. The CO job needs binned immediately, Celtic fc need hammered by the authorities and Celtic the BBC and journalists should be called to account by the SFA - not the other way round.
