winning the league for me - back where we belong. its been too much for me being stuck in gibraltar without seeing a live game and them winning the league for the last 3 years. as gib has only one scottish bar the 3 rosies and it so happens to be a celtic bar. a few showed there true colours yesterday bigoted bassa's but was worth all the hassle hahhahah WATP

caldwell player of season my arse , i about choked on me cornflakes when i read that as Super ally says who does decide this crap.
-
yeh i was looking forward to actually seeing him play , i think it s madness from walter to play big lee at CB instead of him
-
i think webster will be a 1st teamer next year iof big dave decides to retire. IMO a good replacement
-
ive heard wolves are after davis aswell. if he leaves to go to either these two clubs i wont be happy because their relegation fodder n why would he swap his boyhood heroes for a relegation scrap fuffff gonna be a very long summer indeed
-
i still love davis to play in his natural position but who do u drop for that cause aint no way walter dropping mendes tbh
-
i was a tad nervous yesterday when the team sheet was read out - Big lee at CB frightens the life outta me, but to be fair he did ok but defo wouldnt put him anywhere on the park on saturday. Where the fuck is webster he should have been picked ahead of big lee or the highly rated wilson, when are we ever going to see him in action. another baffling choice was at ML - stevie smith shouldnt play or he should be played at LB. surely Novo , aaron or young fleck should have played, i know its not these guys natural positions but can offer more than smith there. and if walter gonna play davis we need and attacking player to play left midfield that can get to the byeline a put a cross in yesterday i honeslty thought we struggled because there was soo many players outta position. CMON Walter sort it out my team for celtic would be Alexander Whittacker Papac if fit( if not smith) bougie weir Novo davis Edu mendes Boyd miller

the lastest from the scum bags - from the mail Celtic have sparked Old Firm fury as they lodged an unprecedented official complaint with the SPL about Rangers' postsplit fixtures. As both sides prepare for a dramatic five-match sprint for the title with just a point separating them, the Parkhead club wrote to the league body expressing 'surprise' after it was revealed their rivals have avoided a perilous trip to Tynecastle to face third-placed Hearts. Gordon Strachan's SPL champions believe the Ibrox side have been handed an unfair advantage in the run-in, which was announced on Sunday, after the plit handed them a third home match against the Edinburgh side. Celtic are furious at the decision, which saves Walter Smith's men from playing again at a venue where they lost in November. The anomaly comes from the need to balance Hearts' and Hibs' fixtures to ensure they both play 19 games at home and away. This could have been done in one move by making Hearts play at Easter Road for the third time this season, but the SPL were keen to avoid switching the Edinburgh derby. A Parkhead spokesman said: 'Clearly, we are quite surprised at the scheduling of matches and we have written to the SPL to get an understanding of their rationale. However, as they always have, Gordon Strachan and the players will get on with it.' Meanwhile, Sportsmail also understands Rangers have made an unofficial protest to the SPL that they have only two days of a gap between vital games with Hibs and Aberdeen, while Celtic have been given four days between fixtures on the same week. SPL chief executive Iain Blair was forced to break off from a Clydesdale Bank SPL function to address the issue - with Blair and league chairman Lex Gold having drawn up the post-split fixtures with no input from the clubs. 'Celtic have written to us formally to inquire about the post-split fixtures and how they were sorted out,' said Blair. SPL chief executive Iain Blair 'I cannot remember us ever previously being asked publicly by a club to explain fixtures. But, of course, they are our shareholders and, if they ask questions, then we will respond to those. 'When we sit down, what we are looking for is the best overall solution for the SPL as a whole. Our primary concern is 19 home and 19 away games for each club. That was laid down as the paramount issue by the clubs themselves as long ago as 2000. That is what they wanted and we made it a priority this season. 'There is an alternative to Hearts playing three times at Rangers but that would involve reversing an Edinburgh derby fixture from Tynecastle to Easter Road. How would the Old Firm feel about that happening to one of their derbies?' Ibrox officials are not pleased that Rangers meet Hibs in Edinburgh on May 13, just three days before a Saturday home game with Aberdeen, while Celtic play on the Tuesday and Sunday of that same week. But that particular complaint will cut little ice as Celtic also have only two days' recovery time between the Old Firm derby at Ibrox on May 9 and the visit of Dundee United on May 12. The controversy comes on the back of a scheduling row last season, which was complicated by Rangers' lengthy European run.

From Daily mail Allegations that Scott Brown retired to bed just 20 minutes ahead of Barry Ferguson and Allan McGregor during the Scotland squad boozing session were last night shot down by SFA sources. One Sunday newspaper claimed Brown had been lucky to avoid punishment from national boss George Burley after joining the ditched Rangers pair in drinking towards lunchtime at the Cameron House Hotel. Bedtime story: Brown That accusation has, however, been flatly dismissed by Hampden insiders, who are convinced the Celtic midfielder had returned to his room at between 8am and 9am ââ?¬â? at least three hours before Ferguson and McGregor ended their marathon session. Brown was one of four other Scotland players who had been in the Great Scots bar at the team hotel after Burley allowed the squad to have a drink following their 4am arrival from a 3-0 defeat against Holland in Amsterdam. The Scotland manager has to submit a full written report on the affair ahead of the SFA board meeting that takes place on Thursday, but sources within the SFA were keen to clarify the level of Brownââ?¬â?¢s involvement. It remains to be seen what further action or recommendations will this week be made by the board ââ?¬â? which includes president George Peat and chief executive Gordon Smith ââ?¬â? but a tightening of disciplinary procedures around the national side seems inevitable. Last Thursday, Smith said Scotland players would be issued with a new code of conduct in a statement that also referred to the Ferguson and McGregor affair as being ââ?¬Ë?closedââ?¬â?¢. Peat, however, demanded a full inquiry and the subsequent public outcry over the childish V-signs the players made, after being dropped to the bench for the 2-1 win over Iceland, forced a rethink on Friday morning. The outcome of that was life bans for the Ibrox pair on the same day they were suspended by their club for two weeks.

i cant believe only Mcgregor and fergie are being made a scapgoat , especially after reading todays rags that 7 players were involved. why wasnt brown dropped aswell double standards from this chump. and was i the only one who thought scotland were shit yesterday. as i said in another post the sooner the chump goes the better. worst scotland teams since vogts and i cant believe sum ppl wanted this chump to be our manager after PLG
-
there does seem to be an agenda with the press
-
if this is the case and burley does drop Mcgregor, if i was him i do a 'boyd' and walk from scotland. the guy deserves his chance to prove himself and to be fair he wasnt at fault for the goals.
-
i think Burley is out of his depth with the scotland Job, the sooner he goes the better.
-
it is very poor we looking to take an unknown left back on loan instead of buying one but its the road were going down and we have no other choice, gonna be a long end to the season. but he a fantastic player dunno how he cope in SPL tho as he a little light weight
-
what really annoys me when we play 451 with lafferty out wide, is all we seem to do is punt long diagonaL balls up to the left wing and it simply doesnt work. there didnt seem to be a plan b yesterday i think walter was playing for penalties. another thing that annoys me is why is walter so scared of celtic? always plays negative footie against them. we won 4-2 at parkhead with 442 so why cant he go more attacking. time for walter to step aside me thinks
-
that all we need another CM

is he any good this lad?
