Our (supposed) model now is that the club signs players, not the manager so I would be very surprised if Koppen tore up his work to fit McInnes(or any other Scottish/British manager) and his need for players from Scotland. The manager will have a say, but I would hope he would be picking from players that have been sourced by Koppen's team.

This is what I believe too. It will be cheaper to get rid of him and his staff come the end of the season and what benefits on the field do we get from changing the manager now? We would likely need an interim manager, which would cost money too. That interim manager cannot win us the league, cannot win us any cups and Clement is not likely to lose 2nd place so the gains will not be 'on-field' gains. They'll probably use the time between now and the end of the season to source some possible replacements to come in at the end of the season and are hoping the situation doesn't get too toxic, which the weekends result won't have helped with. Just to add, I'm not saying its the right idea, or I agree with it, its just my thoughts on the situation. The board obviously feel they can take the risk that people will still buy tickets and renew season books with Clement in charge. We'll see if the board will continue taking that risk the next time there is a poor result

Only names I have seen so far are Lyall Cameron, Bobby Clark and Aaron Anselmino. Anselmino is a centre half though so after picking up Fernandes, highly doubt we'd look to bring in another
