i hate the way FF continuously, in a way so typical of the internet, misrepresent reality so as to cause division in the Church of Murra - rangers support. all this nonsense about a pre-murray rangers is just typical conspiracy theory nonsense. they'd never dare say there was a rangers before murray to his face; they'd cower, cower. -- eta: as fun as it is to vent about murray, there's no answers as things are.

things fall apart; the centre cannot hold. we can expect rather more animated infighting, and division, before things are so bad that change happens, i think. there are no solutions, so any legitimacy in the complaints is lost in pointlessness and noise. it's part of the process by which change happens, but it's not change itself. i think there's far longer to go on this.

of course, if it were done and didn't turn out as expected - as it could do for a million reasons - it gives sdm all the justification he needs. no matter what the forum consensus is, DM is still the man in most rangers fans eyes. i honestly dont think we have betters options anyway. all hte people who say its nonsense that no-one wants the club cant name anyone who does.

we need some sort of some balance, surely. walter smith gave us the biggest european adventure in recent times before our biggest failure in recent times. how this season pans out'll help us decide which was the fluke - i think he's deserving of our trust till then.

do you think alexander is good enough to command a regular place? cant mind who the backup was when goram got dropped. the threat's only as good as the possibility of seeing it through. would we be happy with alexander till the end of the season in nets? what if he blunders? personally i dont think we can do worse just now. alexander's proved he's a capable goalie. should give him a go i think.

i dont know why everyone who comments on mcgregor feels the need to make speculations about "the lads head" and "believing his own hype", "too big for his boots" and all these things. pointless tabloid psychology from people who dont even know him to speculate. his performances have, however, been poor. could do with a spell on bench.

he's going to need an extended run of games in his own position to prove this one way or the other. i'm not sure if walter smith'll do this. i'm not sure if many fans would, given how important it is we win these games. he needs a goal.
