Can't say the absence of a beam back facility will be a major inconvenience for me. If I had a ticket I'd spend all next week in Spain but I doubt if I'd make a 350 mile round trip to watch a televised game at Ibrox that I could see at home or in the local pub. -

For me it was a choice between Goldson and Wright. Opted for Connor Goldson, who I thought was quite imperious in defence and attack. We're going to miss this guy more than we know.

I hope one of you lucky bastards will be taking it upon themselves to make sure this forum receives frequent updates from the Seville odyssey -
I'll never understand why people moan about the price of Rangers' merchandise. Absolutely no one is forcing anyone to buy it. If you think it's too expensive then don't buy it. It really is that simple. But why spread negativity about something that is vital to the club and that many people are so obviously wiling to pay for? One very good reason for having a third strip is that a great many people are happy to buy it.

Well I think that is just superb ....... it will sell well, irritate the goons and it isn't violet.

It's ridiculous in this day and age, with so many huge modern stadiums across Europe, that UEFA should choose to hold a final in such a small venue. In fact, it's hard not to believe these decisions are made for reasons wholly removed from football. -
I just wish we would lose the 5 stars. It was cute for a while but now it would be a more confident statement just to let it go.

I have no ticket and little prospect of getting one. Maybe it's an age thing but I really couldn't face the prospect of more rip-off hotels, cattle transport, etc only to watch on TV in some pub. I've done that too many times before. If I did feel compelled to "be there", I'd definitely want to base myself well away from Seville and probably hire a car for independence and comfort. Good luck to everyone who decides to go without a ticket, make sure you plan your trip well and come back safe. -
👍 Perhaps I misunderstand what you’re referring to as churn rate. I can envisage a highish turnover within the development group as a whole … but not necessarily within the elite who are transitioning into the first team, or indeed the first team squad itself. Or do you mean something else?
-
I think that’s simply wrong.
-
It doesn’t have to be “a high number”. It just needs to be a minimum number to sustain the first team and generate trading income. What it can’t be is zero.
-
I hope I never again see PQ reporting from Ibrox. I don’t need the BBC, don’t miss them, don’t want them. I much prefer my BBC-free Rangers and as long as I know they’re still at odds with us, I can rest easy.
-
That’s just no solution at all. There is no way young players can achieve their potential without first team games, so how will you ever know if they’re good enough? Nor can we ever develop a player trading income stream if there isn’t a conscious policy and established channel of introducing young players (signed OR youth system) to the first team. The problem in the past was twofold- we had no such policy and youth development was an inconvenient sideshow. That’s changing and we have to also expect a different outcome.
-
I think there is a balance to be struck. The question is whether or not the support will accept it. To many signings- complaints of not developing homegrown talent. Too many youngster - complaints about not maximising the strength of the squad.
-
We clearly have some excellent young players coming through but their chances will only be inhibited by every new player we sign. So where is the balance that allows young players to get the game time they need, while also strengthening the team with new signings? There are still only eleven players allowed on the park at any one time?

The important thing is for Hagi to be able to undergo full pre-season preparation.
