  1. None of the 19 No voters seem to making much of a case for Beale to remain.
  2. Confusing and surprising in equal measures.
  3. If they were going to sack him during the break, they'd have done it already. I suspect we'll have to wait until there have been another one or two bad results before he's gone...which might not be far away.
  4. Was one of the job requirements turning a blind eye to payments to trophy centres?
  5. Nonsense.
  6. Sunday was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Under Beale the only big game we've won was against a fairly rubbish Servette. His results against Celtc have been woeful and that's largely down to his poor team selections, tactics and substitutions. Against the dross, we've barely managed one good 90 minute performance. We got absolutely scudded in Eindhoven. Our defence is shambolic and continues to give away daft goals. Our signings, after twelve matches this season, look disappointing (Butland excepted). Our line ups and formations don't have any semblance of consistency. Beale constantly contradicts himself in interviews. He looks lost on the sidelines. Cantwell and Raskin seem to be slowly getting worse. They and other players are constantly played out of position. I could go on. It isn't working and there's no indication it's going to work.
  7. I'd agree with that, specifically in relation to Rangers. I'm hoping the next manager has no previous Rangers connection whatsoever - the 'bring him home' nonsense has to stop.
  8. When something isn't working, you change it. Quite simple.
  9. Barisic and Tav are both good at going forward but not great defenders. Hopefully we keep Barisic until January but line up a replacement for him and sell him then. We need to get rid of everyone involved in 55 because they've all seen better days and staleness is apparent.
  10. Maybe if we just stick with him he'll figure out how to manage a team. Then we won't have to sack him. Then we can all live happily ever after.
  11. I'm fairly certain Beale won't be fired during the break but the board will have some sort of timeline for improvements in performances and results. Every match looks tricky with our current form and I think it's evident a large percentage of the support have made our minds up. For me, not firing him now is just delaying the inevitable and he'll be gone before the year is out.
  12. I know a lot of Bears talk up Souttar but he's cost us a few important goals. Definitely needs to improve his concentration levels.
  13. A few of them have won things recently. A few others are fairly well respected. I just want someone who knows what they're doing.
  14. Disagree. After getting pounded by PSV, we didn't exactly respond well a few days later, so maybe we need a break (I know I'm glad we're not playing for a couple of weeks). And it's the perfect opportunity to replace the manager.
  15. Half-time on Sunday, I'd say.
  16. Not if we get a good manager in. That meek performance against a makeshift yahoo side was a disgrace and that's mainly down to Beale, who is so obviously incapable of managing at a club like Rangers. Blaming the support is weird.
  17. If you need sniffer dogs to figure out what's going on in the bogs you must have a nose like Daniella Westbrook.
  18. I was under the impression the Police were under-resourced? Surely they have more important things to be dealing with.
  19. Scotland is a stepping stone to England for the vast majority of players and managers. I want a successful Rangers.
  20. The mere sight of Beale is still annoying me today.
  21. I had no idea there were so many sado-masochists among us.
  22. Guardiola puts defenders in midfield, in order to dominate the middle of the park. Beale puts midfielders in defence, in order to vacate the midfield and allow the opposition playmakers an easy afternoon stroll. He buys players and drops them for big games. He plays our best player(s) out of position. He talks shite. He can't beat Celtc in a competitive match. Our defence is just as bad as it was last season.
  23. Yes, as soon as possible.
  24. I'd be a bit worried if the League Cup has much bearing on the board's thinking process.
  25. No but probably because it was an upper body barge, rather than a kick (Cantwell actually kicked out at Maeda as they fell). Would've been a soft penalty.
